It feels like you have to look all over the place for the articles you want yo read. Why don't you just consolidate like groups.

Hard to traverse

Seems like a lot of wasted space in the presentation. Worst part is, upon reading a story, hitting the back arrow takes you back to the top of the story list. It should return you to the title of the story just read. If you read more than one or two stories, this constant return to the top is tedious.
