Too many ads

If you rewind over an ad break, it forces you to watch it. When you play back through it, it forces you to watch it AGAIN. Rewind also turns off closed captions. There is no premium option to remove ads. These issues are for the Apple TV app.

The problem with the app is that the there is not all the seasons there or episodes.
Messes up on chrome cast!

I watch episodes I missed on tv through my chrome cast, and I can’t go out of the app & check texts or whatever while I’m watching, because I go back in and the show will still be playing but it shows it’s unconnected and then I reconnect it and it literally starts the show completely over. Also when I pause it it disconnects even if I have paused it for a minute. I like the app in general, but not with the chrome cast issues it constantly has.
Good content strategy, bad frame rate.

It’s great that the app doesn’t require sign-in to watch. Though, the app is really annoying because it doesn’t seem to remember where I’ve left off in episodes from one session to the next. But, my biggest complaint is the frame rate is awful on Apple TV 4K. I have match frame rate turned on, and the streams play at 60fps and you can tell it’s jittery. If I manually change the system settings to 4k24hz, video is way better. It seems the app doesn’t support the match frame rate API, or maybe it sticks to 60 for the ads inserted into streams? Either way - you can tell the frame rate isn’t quite... right. Makes me wonder if this is how it looks when broadcast via cable - jittery? It’s close. But just not quite right.

I have this app on my TV and it is the worst. Plays the same commercials in loops over and over can’t get through an entire show have to stop and restart the entire app for it to work. I expected more from The CW
Could anyone get a show to play

I downloaded the CW app to watch show as is everyone else but I have been trying for days I have not gotten a single show to play I have tried turning off WiFi I’ve tried closing and open the app I have even tried powering off my phone then to turn I back on and still no shows would play all it does is continue to load. If anyone has a suggestion I’m open for ideas
