Love your site and articles, but this app is absolute trash. I’d have no problem paying $5 for a working app from you guys

Pictures no longer load and captions overlap. No one at Cracked seems interested in fixing the app so I’m deleting it.

Yes, the articles are mostly engaging and suit my attention deficit mindset but rarely do the pictures accompanying the article manifest. The captions to unseen pictures have been unintelligibly stacked on top of each other for years. Why this mess continues is a mystery. I wouldn’t think that cracked would endeavor to offer me this unprofessional mish mash of glitches yet it continues unabated. Frustrating

I have had the Cracked app for years. I really enjoyed learning trivial things in the form of lists with some humor sprinkled in. It was a winning formula for me. The app itself was always garbage but I put up with it so I could have easy access to the content. Now they've fired all their talent and shut down the videos. The content that is there isn't any good either. There are two or three short articles posted per day with varying degrees of quality. It takes 10 minutes to read all of the content for the day. The only bright spots are when the rare Sean Baby contribution comes by. Update: Yeesh. I stuck with it because I was hoping all the changes within the company would maybe lead to good things. It has not. THIS APP IS WORSE THAN EVER. If an article loads correctly it feels like a miracle. The sub-headings load vertically and superimpose the text. Making it unreadable. The pictures load about 1/4 of the time and the picture captions are all over the place and unreadable. The app is just completely broken. Nothing has been fixed but new things are broken. The content is so recycled that it seems like they don’t have anyone left to come up with anything. And visiting the website in a browser isn’t much better. It’s just completely filled with ads now, to the point where they intrude on reading articles. The end seemed nigh in 2018 and now here we are. They fired their whole staff. They are cramming ads into any space that can hold them trying to stay afloat. And THE FEEDBACK AND CONTACT US LINKS ARE DEACTIVATED ON BOTH THE APP AND THE WEBSITE. They must have gotten tired of negative feedback so they just turned off the links and pretended like it doesn’t exist. I’m finally deleting the app. I’ve had it for 9 years. It’s just over.
