What a Trash App

Why does this app still perform so poorly? You have support from ads and a paid version, not to mention how long you’ve had an app around in the first place. Stories lag when scrolling, crash, or just don’t load. Frequently.

Motion sickness

Scrolling through, the article pictures move AND THERES NO OPTION TO TURN IT OFF. I got the app because the browser site has so many ads. Now I have to delete the app because it triggers my motion sickness.

Garbage App, fun content

I had cracked lite for a while and got fed up with all the adds. So I thought I’d pay the dollar to get the “ad free” app. Things were good for a while until I updated my phone. Now the pay version of the app won’t open with the new iOS software because they need to update their app. All in all the developers seem pretty awful and now I have a paid app (cheap but still) that won’t work.

Navigation elements too far up on the left corner, don't respond reliably. Not sure how this ever got past certification.

They now support iPhone X and I wish they didn’t. It is harder to us because they didn’t follow Apple design conventions properly. Hard to back out of articles

Cracked has always had interesting articles and topics but in the past few years they have turned into something that seems to be written by a bunch of hack comics. You don’t need to shoe horn in a stupid joke every third sentence. It’s not even smart humor either. It’s like a 6th grader “the longer the funnier” type crap. A bunch of yuck-yuck look at me BS.

I wish I didn’t enjoy the articles so much

Great for unwanted advertisements

I like cracked and reading in the site, but both the normal website and app are flooded with unwanted ads that interrupt you’re reading. Don’t bother unless you want to play whack a mole with ads and refreshing the app or page, closing and trying again and again to be interrupted by the same stuff over and over. Try listverse istead, I love the connect but the ads ruin it, no I don’t want to get scammed for an Amazon gift card I wanna read funny stuff. Even the mobile sure is poorly made.

New version doesn't fix any of the old version's problems
