The app is dying

When was the last time Cracked even cared to update this app? Half of the article links don't work. And the ones that do take a long time to load. Please get this fixed!

The older app is better

Half the articles won't load, and I can't increase the font size. The old app just needs to get an update.

Photoplasty Problems

The app shows the various photoplstys, but they will not open in the app. Also, the ends of comments are routinely cut off.

Crappy as all other Cracked apps

Cracked is letting go of their online presence in smartphones. All of their apps need major overhauls and updates and they seem in no hurry to fix any of it. I don't have the time to go to a desktop to look at the desktop version that is the only one that works. It's frustrating and I'm getting closer to not reading Cracked anymore since it's annoying to have an app that doesn't work and slows down your phone.

I rarely use Cracked, maybe once a month when I have completely run out of things to do. The articles are pretty bad and there's rarely anything worth reading more often than that. Whenever I do use Cracked, I'm only able to read the articles that are on the screen. If I scroll down the app crashes. Re downloading, power cycling the phone, updating, nothing works to fix the problem. At this point I really only have the app for nostalgia. I wish it wouldn't crash because I might be able to find some good content and have a higher opinion, but it's stuck at a one because it doesn't work and the articles I remember are mostly trash.

Why can't you get your app to work consistently?

Today when trying to pull up articles in the app, I'm greeted with the menu header and a white screen. The last few days, while trying to scroll to the older articles I haven't read, the app crashes as I scroll. The last few weeks the app simply refused to open any articles by "cracked readers" I've been experiencing many of these issues on and off for years. Your content is great, I just wish the app to read said content wasn't so awful and glitchy

The app has a problem with broken links. Oftentimes you can tap on an article and the link is broken, so it doesn't go anywhere. I get that things like this happen, but as far as I've noticed, the links never get fixed. I can't give an app anything more than 1 star when it's primary function is to provide linked articles and it fails at that purpose regularly.

I love reading the articles but it's become next to impossible with either the app or the mobile site. The mobile site reloads and takes you to the top of the page every couple of minutes, like seriously after every article entry. This is ridiculously frustrating. The app was better until recently. If you click a link to read a related article, you MIGHT be able to finish one article entry before you get a white screen and have to go back and reload the page. I don't know if it's from funky ads or if it's some stupid thing to get more clicks but it's getting ridiculous to the point that I don't even wanna mess with it. Please fix this issue!

If you're going to put ads like this on your free app, you really ought to offer a paid version without the ads. The other cracked app hasn't been updated for 4 years, and really hasn't worked for almost 2. I don't even mind the cracked store articles. If you make the advertising optional and entertaining, loyal readers like me will still read every one and purchase from the store. I'd much rather pay for content than have to deal with these ads.
