Frustrating glitch in your login

Clicking on X doesn’t work.

Touching an article lightly puts it in reader mode, but clicking X to return to newspaper works only sporadically. Very frustrating.

Poorly Constructed

Al8830

It takes an unreasonably long time to load articles, or even sections. Just a blue spinning circle. It’s not my connection - never happens on other news apps, but happens multiple times daily on globe app. I expect a better, modern app for lunch and expensive subscription.

Excellent Media App

VMI Razz

This is an excellent app for the Globe which also posts timely alerts.

Needs one fix...

Comettail27

Love the Globe but it pauses my music when I’m trying to read an article. Please fix this small issue it is incredibly annoying.

Love the Globe’s in-depth-ness!

I love the Globe’s in-depth and comprehensive coverage on Boston, MA and New England news. Bravo - keep up the good work. I’m glad to support it with my subscription! Paul B

One of the planet’s finest newspapers

Yippie Bostonia

I have been reading the Globe for 30 years now, and as such am pleasanty biased. Front to back, this newspaper continues to hire and keep excellent writers The Globe, unlike other rags like the Herald or Post, values truth and data above all else; and has earned its rep as an honest, fair-handed, and progressive daily. With few exceptions, this paper does an outstanding job in reporting, investigation , delivering a product that continues to be best in class. Most writers are super smart but never preachy; backing each piece with context and scope so I can quickly ascertain whether I should pay more or less attention to the issues most important to me and my community. Those who complain about the Globe’s “left wing” bias or progressive nature may want to also consider the culture and history of its readership. “Balanced reporting” shouldn’t ever mean that you need to force an equal quantity of Left vs Right coverage as one poster commented in a review here. Balance in this sense never makes sense. I like that the paper is an example of the best in journalism; reporting vthe facts, support with data and proven scientific approach. Expose the lies and the liars for who they are; no matter the political party. Ffhg Keep up the good work. I’d only ask for a bit more college sports coverage; especially hoops. I understand Boston is a pro-sports city with our rich heritage among all professional asclubs and franchises but I think there might only be more support for the local schools. Globe has the best soundboard to help grow each of the communities that have dm

Now I live in PA but...

Bowed Bookshelf

There was a time when The Boston Globe went through hard times but it is back better than ever. Although I moved to PA, I find myself drawn to the investigative writing highlighted in The Globe still. Some stories, though national, have an interesting, thoughtful angle in The Globe that is not found in many larger, and smaller papers. The writers are spectacular, but this is a team effort—the editors make the writing better, relevant, focused. Great work, everyone!

I dislike the new format. It is difficult to select what I want, without going through many stories. The newspaper print format is my preferred presentation, and I would not continue my subscription in the present format. Bob Smith
