Not Worth Your Time

As other reviewers have noted, the current version of this app makes logging in impossible (the login page disappears and shuttles you back to the home page before you can begin to type). If you find a way to log in and then navigate your way into an article that interests you (be prepared to spend a while cutting a path through the baffling layout), you'll see that the comments section has disappeared. Well, at least the Russian bots have been foiled! Stick to your browser.

The Globe’s excellent reporting and solid information is CRUCIAL and appreciated amid alternative facts, also known as propaganda. With the chronic liar-in-chief, I appreciate the Globe’s balanced and researched reporting more than ever. Getting it electronically makes it even more convenient and affordable. Please keep improving that platform.
Was great, but update broke out-links

The app worked great, but at some point in the past few months, when the app redirects to a bostonglobe.com webpage, it doesn’t preload your login credentials. Sometimes, when I’m reading the paper, it’s easier to be online instead of in the app, because it makes me renter my credentials for every other article. This needs to be fixed, it was truly a great news app before...

I do not consider dying a “sport!” Keep the obituaries off the sports page. It is disrespectful. Put them in one place such as Metro. Don’t lump them in with the “classifieds” either. One place always. It is not that hard and be respectful to the last posting of the deceased and to their families.
Not very user friendly

It defaults to an old version of the paper. You have to play with it to get access to today’s paper, and then when you close an article it defaults bac to the old paper!! Very frustrating
Very disappointing

As a Globe subscriber thought the app would be worthwhile, but it’s pretty lame — many pictures & stories repeated 2-3 times as you scroll down, sometimes duplicated right below. Strange that one of the best papers in the country can’t get a decent app.

I just got The Globe app and a subscription. Wow! This is a great newspaper. I’m looking forward every day to reading this terrific paper. I’ve been subscribed to a Florida paper that wouldn’t make a good fish wrapper. Get back to My Massachusetts roots!

I had been reading the Globe every morning for more than 50 years. Journalism is dead at the Globe. The attacks and baseless hysteria is too much. Cancelled my subscription and now spend more time walking my dog. I am saddened by what has happened to my morning best friend.
