this game is great but i feel as if the maps are a little to small i would like to have the option to create our own maps And maybe something like a new tech tree like diplomacy where you can research the ability to have alliances. Me and my friends play this and sometimes make treaties but it doesn’t work very well because there’s no official way to do it i am the best at this game out of my friend group they always single me out and create fake alliances and then get close to my capital then stab me in the back and take my capital. Could you please create some kind of way to have actual diplomacy edit: maybe you guys could make the capital a two by two instead of one by one and make it harder to capture like you have to have a unit in all four spots but i don’t know that would make it seem a little more realistic also another idea i had was a battle commander that can make battle squads which are 2-3 units in one square their health and damage rolled into one

Best mobile strategy game ever!!!

Hi Midjiwan, I understand that this review will probably never be looked at. I’m also well aware that you are a small company and that it takes a while to add major updates. First of all, the gameplay is awesome! I love strategy games, and this is one of the best ones. As of this review, the app is rated #153 for strategy games on the AppStore. What a joke! Then again, this is a list that has Pokémon Go in the top 5. The game is simple enough for most people to understand and enjoy, but it has some complexity and deeper strategy, which I like. I’m glad that it is not as hard as the Civilization games, which I find too long and complex. Please don’t try to make this game more realistic, the simplicity is what makes it so great! That and the art. The art style is really cool and really expresses each tribes’ personalities. I know a lot of negative reviews whine about having to buy tribes, which is really annoying. What do you expect from an ad free game? I’m not a fan of in app purchases to get over some stupid paywall or to buy gems and nonsense. However, I feel good paying a couple dollars to support a great company that actually makes good games. In fact, I decided to buy all of the tribes. Maybe you could add a bundle for all of the tribes for a dollar or two less than if you got them all individually? I don’t mind online multiplayer being cost a dollar, but maybe I’m biased because when the feature came out, I already had most of the tribes. Still, it’s not fair that there are so many negative reviews because whiney 9 year olds can’t get the game for free and support an amazing company. Sorry that I’ve written a whole essay already, but I have some ideas for improvements. First, I think the game would be more fun if there was more of a reason to play or there was some sort of progression. Maybe a campaign mode? I’m sure you’ve thought of that and had plenty of people recommend this too. I know it would take a lot of time and money to develop, but it would be great! My other idea is for team battles. In online multiplayer, there could be a team mode that you could pair up with a friend against the AI bots, which I forgot to mention before are very good strategists, or against another pair of friends. My cousin and I both want to play this way. Finally, it would be fun if you could battle all 15 tribes in one game on a massive map if you have bought them all. Thank you for reading my essay-thing. If you did, you are very patient. I hope to see more from Midjiwan in the future!

Fun and simple game.

The only thing I wish for is some more game mechanics or more variations between the different factions. Maybe they can add an undead faction that can turn slain units into there own soldiers and focuses on having a lot of cheap units and maybe like some sort of Dragon Faction that can only have a restricted amount of units but have overall better quality units. But right now it’s a fun little game but the lack of unique variations between factions will make the game stale quicker for most players.

Do NOT buy Tribes!!

TheOmidM

I would have given zero stars if i could, their app is broken! Do not buy any tribes, it will not let you play multiplayer!! I bought the Luxidoor for 4$ and it still does not let me play multiplayer, i’ve contacted apple support to get my money back and they say it’s not their problem!! - IT IS A SCAM!!! - DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS DEVELOPER

Multiplayer

I wish that the multiplayer was free. Also, I would like more free skins... It gets boring after a while with only using a couple of skins.

Multiplayer system

Flameshot098n

I know Midjiwan is busy doing other things, but adding a MP system could really spices things up. I’ve had this game for quite a while and own all but Polaris. Each tribe has its own technique and style and I’d like to see entire tournaments of this game. However, it’s hard to get friends to play when they aren’t even aware of a game like this, let alone the concept of a turn based game. There’s so much opportunity for a multiplayer system that could make this game fantastic. The AI always thinks the same: play the early game, and never think to play the late game. There’s just so much more a human could do versus AIs that the MP system could significantly improve gameplay by adding in entirely new tactics. In any case, I wish the game developer(s?) the best of luck, and may the best tribe win :).

There’s no managing cities, just upgrading them. It’s great to be able to make a move and not worry if your citizens are going to burn down your capital. Online

I love this game, it’s one of the best things to play by yourself or with friends, but, you can only play multiplayer on the same device. Due to the Corona Virus, I think we need online multiplayer, but overall, I love this game, and totally recommend it.

Love it!!!!
