Doesn't show download progress. After clicking download, wasn't sure if downloading or not until about a minute or so later when open/delete showed up. Likewise once downloaded, the app freezes up and won't open the magazine. Owners of the magazine need to refund everyone who purchased magazines through the app.

On my iPad Air the app is virtually unuseable. You really must WANT to finish the article to persevere. Would give the Atlantic a pass untill the app is redone.

I don't like to be negative, but all the hate this app receives is on firm ground. The developer is not following app developer guidelines, specifically those regarding accessibility.

Will not download purchased issue. Alternatively Locks up or closes. As close to a fraud as there can be. Don't download.

Hard to use. Does not give access to back issues except at an outrageous price.

Can't access back issues, old online articles. Can't search archives. Can't even easily review the app; my review was rejected because my "nickname was already in use" (by me). Truly the worst magazine app I have come across. I much prefer the previous version. Now I have decided to use web browser access and forget about this app.

Besides being disorganized this thing is continually asking for my account number off the mailing label. Like I travel with a hard copy so I can read on my iPad. Really annoying. Seriously what's the point if I can't use this on the road. Ask it once, fine. This is awful. It was good before. Update: it is now even worse. Since I have the label I tried once more. It tells me "success!" And doesn't allow me to access anything. Worst app ever. Doesn't even exist.

I used to enjoy this magazine app but today I deleted it because I'm always prompted to have daily emails sent to me and there is no way to get back to your article....

I recommend sticking to the print edition until these guys get their act together. The user experience has always tried too hard to be unique and just ended up being confusing. But now the app is SO unstable that it's entirely unusable. I've deleted it and won't be trying it again until the reviews improve significantly. I experienced the same problems a previous poster called out.

What a disaster this App is. All you can do after paying is take a survey on how to improve the app, a Ten Minute survey. Here is my suggestion. Fire the top twenty people in your digital team. I deleted the app, it just is too aggravating. For every article it wants me to sign in, and signing in doesn't help either.
