Love the Atlantic but the app is beyond pitiful

Need I say more? Downloads never work impossible to access content, just the worst app experience I have ever come across.

Login? Not possible. Ask to redo password? Also re-routed to generic login page. I am a print subscriber. Login using address label? Nope! Re-routed to generic login page which does not ask for address label information. How did I get to this point? App was not working. It crashed EVERY time. So, I deleted it and downloaded it again. Useless move. If The Atlantic is actually paying a company to create and manage this app, they should drop them, sue their sorry derrières for incompetence and find a new app writer!

Once it downloads it is okay, but it often fails to download. Very frustrating
Old Version Was Better

Two main gripes about the redesigned app. First, page numbers are gone. Big mistake. Second, in the old version when you opened the app it took you to the place you left off. With the new version it takes you to the beginning. Bigger mistake. The content is, as before, top-notch. Bottom line, not recommended.

Keeps going back to magazine cover instead of staying on article and does not keep place in article. Horribly frustrating. So many other magazines have mastered this, why not The Atlantic?

Don't waste your time! Every time I download issues, the app locks. Deleting.

What happened? I cannot log in. I get in an endless loop of being asked to log in but cannot. I've bee a print subscriber since 1991 and am really annoyed by this updated app. Go back to the previous version until these errors are fixed.
What app are the rest of you using?
