Siri Shortcuts Would be a Massive Benefit

Michael99909

The app is fine, but could be a little simpler and add abilities to open doors aside from just trunks. Mainly though: PLEASE ADD SIRI SHORTCUTS. Much easier to tell my phone to unlock the car, open the trunk then to get it out for everything.

Great app but has stopped connecting to vehicle

Allpro69

Oddly has stopped connecting to vehicle.

Great app, just a couple of things...

earthwoven

I would like to see the trunk button on the main screen rather than the frunk as I use the trunk way more often. I d also like to get my charging info/payment in the app too. And when I’m charging I’d like to be able to see how many miles I need rather than a percentage. That makes me do math in my head and I’d rather not. Thanks!

No product linked to your account

ddubb5000

The app has worked fine previously. However, when I logged in today, it says there are no products linked to my account.

Wrong Car in App

Weather Hound

Just updated my Dec ‘17 MS from 2020.12 to 2020.12.5 and now the app shows a picture of the old style grill on my car. That’s not my car or how it used to be.

Error

KeLLie(^_^)

I just have this app for two day for my solar system. It was working fine the first two days but on the third day the app is not showing any power flow from the solar panel. I quickly contact the company and telling them that my solar is not working so they send people over to check and they took me it was working fine. The only thing I see is I receiving the power from the grid directly. I think they really need to fix the app this gives customer a lot of problem.

Solar; Stuck like Chuck!

CruzzzzN

Oh my, this is the worst app ever. So these people wanted to get into the solar business so they bought out solar city. The problem is the app was primarily developed for its autos. The bigger problem is the app works when it wants to on my end, and Tesla doesn’t care because it’s getting all the data it can from me because it works on their end, so I get this worthless app because it’s required? What a ripoff piece of junk!

I want a Tesla

I can't hurry

Yo Elon got some spare Teslas that I can have

WHAT “Fixes and improvements”?

fed up with improvements

Useful for monitoring Tesla PowerWalls, but could use improvement. 1/18/20 Update: Give us back the “Yesterday” stats for the PowerWall! App still fails to indicate that it hasn’t been in contact with Tesla for the past 3 hours. It just merrily continues to display what it received the last time it contacted the servers, even if that has no relationship with what is happening now. That can give a false sense of satisfactory performance when that could be totally inaccurate. 12/8/19 update: Do you suppose Tesla even bothers to read these reviews of their product? App continues to report false/outdated information about State of Charge and energy usage. Has been out of contact of the Tesla servers for over an hour, and continues to report “usage” and SOC falsely. And, why is Tesla losing contact with its servers EVERY DAY around 10:00 AM EST? This has been going on now for well over a month. Wonder what Tesla software development is working in these days? It clearly isn’t in improving this app. 11/28/19 update: App stops communicating with server EVERY DAY at about 11:15 AM AST. What is going on? 10/19/19 update: Still waiting for larger font on the screen. Still waiting for you to fix the behavior of the app when it fails to update. It should just keep displaying the results of the last update (charging vs. discharging, etc.), without indicating that it has lost connection and really has NO idea of the current status. Still waiting for some user defined alerts (see below). For some unimaginable reason, you took away the “Yesterday” graph of usage statistics - a most useful display. Why would you do that? Did you have customers screaming “I DON’T WANT TO SEE WHAT THE WHOLE DAY PERFORMANCE WAS YESTERDAY!”? No, I didn’t think so. Then, why would you remove that? That is the ONLY time your customer can see a full 24 hour day record of performance, so they can see what happens to cause there SOC to be what it is, other than waiting until 11:59:59 PM and saving it before it goes away. Brilliant. 9/7/19 update: Version 3.9.1 will continuity report a particular PowerWall status, when in fact it has not updated for the past hour, allowing you to believe you are charging when, in fact, you are discharging. That is unforgivable. There still are no alerts available, to send a text or email when a specific discharged or charged SOC is reached. Sometimes there is a gold frame around the screen, sometimes not. Why? I propose you display the gold frame (or, green) when charging, and a red frame when discharging. It is obvious that TESLA IGNORES CUSTOMER FEEDBACK. See various enhancement requests below. Why did “Yesterday” disappear as an option on the usage displays? That was the ONLY way to see the full day graphical view of why went on yesterday. The available bar graphs don’t show you by time of day what was going on. Arbitrary, NOT customer-led change to functionality. 6/18/19 update: Version 3.8.5 locks up in the PowerWall monitoring mode, continues to report old information and does not indicate that it is out of date, giving the homeowner a false sense of security that their remaining available power is satisfactory! Previous update: I want to see configurable text or email alerts for PowerWall charge levels, error messages, etc. I want to know if my state of charge drops below a specified level, or when 100% (or other configured level) charge is reached. I’d like to see downloadable statistics logs of usage, solar output, etc., which could be stored until Downloaded. Why does the app lose connection, display “last updated” sometime yesterday, and necessitate pressing the retry icon for it to try again? It should automatically try again periodically. Why do our PowerWalls charge only to 85%? Why does the app use such small fonts on an otherwise empty screen? How about supporting dynamic text size, so the user can configure the text size they prefer. Where is my previous review? Your “App support” link isn’t really to app support, is it? It just links to a marketing page without any option for support. I don’t think that’s how that link was intended. So, if instead, you get roasted in publicly visible reviews, you get what you deserve. Provide a way to gather private app feedback.
