Can’t get music to load

App used to work great. Tried opening a new tune and it didn’t load. Now I can’t get it to even let me try to load any other tune. Useless.
Needs a few basic improvements!!

I use this app extensively for marching band rehearsals when my students are learning drill. Three things need to be added to fix this app’s functionality. 1. LOCK MARKERS. This is crucial. It is sooo easy to accidentally delete a marker when trying to touch and drag the song’s position slider. Even using the iPad’s multi swipe gesture to switch to my metronome app often deletes MULTIPLE markers. This is incredibly frustrating in the middle of a rehearsal. Just add a toggle button to lock markers in position! 2. PLAYLIST AUTOPLAY. I want my show music in a playlist so I can switch from one song to another quickly. NOT so it can start autoplaying the next song while I’m trying to give verbal instructions to my band. Just add a button for this please! 3. MARKER ACCURACY. When I pause and add a marker, I should be able to expect the song to then play exactly from that marker down to the 100th or at least 10th of a second. Instead, it seems the marker rounds to the nearest second. This is very frustrating when I’m counting off, hit play, and the music starts on beat 2 or 3 instead of beat 1 because the marker rounded to 1:26 instead of 1:25.75. This throws my students off completely, and so I have to write down whether I have to press play on count 3, count 4, count 1, or usually somewhere in between for every marker in order for the music to play at the right time after my verbal count off.
Better apps for less

There are so many better apps for less that automatically gives you the BPM. Why am I paying to to the work if I want the BPM? That's nonsense. Obviously this isn't an app for running, but if you run then I recommend something like beatpacer

Updated app does NOT work. Can’t search for itune files or playlists to run. Plus I don’t like Dropbox.

I’ve had this app for about two years, and it’s made learning, practicing, and teaching songs so much easier and more efficient. I give lessons at a music store, and have around 30 lessons individual lessons a week. I recommend this to nearly every student I have, current and new. Learning songs I’ve never heard before is a weekly occurrence. Being able to slow songs down to hear the small nuances of a part more clearly is great. Changing pitch to match a easier to attain tuning is a huge time saver. The circular design is the most intuitive I can imagine a tool like this could have. I’ve used audacity and Adobe’s Audition to change tempo and pitch. This app produces the same great sound 1000% faster, and it’s mobile. Things that could be improved: Multiple playlists- I teach multiple instruments and styles. I find myself searching through my playlist not finding the song I know is there. Multiple Playlists I could use for each instrument or style would be amazing. Option for higher fidelity playback- The quality is never bad, but I’m sure it has to compress files in some manner to process them as quickly as it does. Some tones become very slightly messy when no speed change has occurred. More consistent song setting saves- The app remembers what speed you have each song set to. It remembers pitch changes, but does not apply it, which is mildly inconvenient. Turning on balance controls resets both pitch and speed. I can’t say enough good things about this app and its developer. I hope this feedback encourages more updates and compatibility assurance. My app just completely stop working it won’t let me play or upload any music. I open the app and it basically freezes every time
