New?

This is a great platform, especially for young people just learning how to make investments like me. This is a Fantastic experience for people of all ages. I would recommend if you are just starting to learn about investments that you find someone who may help you out at first. This person for me is my brother. He helped me think through what I was doing, analyze the charts, and he helped me learn the vocabulary. One more thing I recommend is the learning videos on the app. One thing I learned through that is that you want to have a little bit of everything. What this means is you want not just to buy shares from one company. You want to invest in company’s but also bonds, and mutual funds to diversify your portfolio. Overall this is just a great app to earn some money, learn, and have a good time.

Glitch with margin balance

Nowisee2012

My cash balance in the other app and website is ok, but in this app it shows in margin balance AND cash & sweep vehicle, same amount. The larger Trader TV is good and easy to get to with the arrow and in the More section. The drag to arrange is good. The calendar is wonderful. I’d like to be able to put positions in ascending order by %, I can do it in the Watchlist section and then just change over to my positions. Fully customizable there.

Design Refresh

Reichuber

Love the new color palette refresh and UI tweaks in v186.0. Looks more crisp, modern and dynamic.

Screwed it up again

OK guys this time you pushed me over the edge a d its time to move to another broker platform. You dont realize hiw you affect an active trader when you completely reverse the layout they have been used to for years. Putting the list on the right and chart on the left dramatically affects my ability to trade. Inthe old layout i could change stocks in the list with my left thumb and then place an lrder with my right thumb without having to rearrange the iPad. Now I have to take my hand off to get to the trade buttons on the chart. Simple UI designers know that except for a small portion of the world population our eyes tend to read left to right. I look at a stock on the watchlist on the left and select it them move my eyes to the right to look at the chart. Now you have reversed that and its awkward to say the least. Who does your testing and makes these decisions. Obviously someone that does not actively trade. Anyone reading this, have a look at the WeBull app and brokerage. Its bery powerful and the commissions are zero. Imstayed with TDA for this app. Now it doesnt function for me.

Display problem with..

Joshhua Dillon

The positions window. The columns you can swipe side to side do not rest totally behind the actual positions column: there’s a creep from the hidden column and is distracting.

Funky version

Jason6768

Love the app for functionality, but this version is glitchy and the watchlist scroll is very jumpy.

Any reason why it dropped support for iOS 9.3.5?

Observer2010

Tens of millions of tablets running 9.3.5.

Latest release screwed up cozy display of positions

Adv1Adv2

The old version has very nice cozy display of stocks in positions screen. It’s now so huge and lot of screen real estate is wasted. It doesn’t make sense. Give me old version.

Latest Update

App reviewer #23

The latest update messed up the alignment of the column headings, making utilizing the app more confusing. This needs to be addressed ASAP.

Was a good app but messed up with this version

Wannatrademore

App is much harder to use now and downloads more slowly. It was my go-to for trading information but they reversed the display of the watchlist with the chart and made it more awkward to get to the basics of news and other information. They need to make display choices available for this. It seems like whoever was designing the new version had not been trading with the old or they would not have produced this clunky new one. They should just go back to the previous one.
