Won’t cancel your option order

amtd trader ☹️

The phone mobile app would not cancel or replace my option order . I had to call client services multiple times to cancel order. I lost money on this phone mobile app. Client service clueless.

Easy to navigate

1000% better than “sink or swim”

I’m impressed with your new TD Ameritrade mobile program. It’s much easier to use and works much faster when I buy options. Also you reduce the cost of trading options which is most desirable to a active option trader like myself.Keep up the good work and I’ll stay with the company, TD Ameritrade. Still learning my way around but so far no problems

This is the app you want

You have to learn the non-intuitive interface. It does not report the net value or cash position of your account. But the face-recognition verification is priceless for rushing orders. Lots of useful features make iPad trading fun. Don’t switch to thinkorswim until they get it working this well.

TDtrader Easy

I’ve been trading on eTrade since 2006, anticipating the market crash and it’s opportunities. But eTrade’s insistence on $7/trade fees is convincing me to look elsewhere. TDameritrade seems to offer $0/trade small stock purchases (that’s me). Already I deposited $75 and bought 4 shares and I’m up $11 (on paper). In eTrade I would only be down $3 due to two 2 share buys costing me nearly $14 in fees. But hold on! TDtrader doesn’t offer TDameritrade enough customer manipulation with it’s easy menu. So, Ameritrade has announced it’s switching to Thinkorswim mobile app, which I installed and tried, with a simpler menu, it’s harder to find my portfolio, opening with watchlist (like the current app). I’ve yet to find portfolio view which is more useful to me. I like the current app, and will drop TDA if they either don’t make some changes to TOS or stay with TDtrader!

Doesn’t look the same!!!!

So I’ve recently switched over to Think or Swim mobile app as my TD Ameritrade trading platform. With much assurance from TD Ameritrade that the new app looks exactly like the old app and that my info would switch over automatically once I installed and set up Think or Swim. So I switched over only to find that almost none of my preferences switched over and the new app looks completely different and is much much harder to see the information and the actual set up is totally different. Such a bait and switch, shame on you TD Ameritrade, I was extremely happy with the old app and overall the new one is terrible.

Junk

Difficult to deposit money unless you do it when you set up the account. I deleted the app due to this I never got to trade I’d give it zero stars if I could. Don’t waste your time!!!

Could be easier.

The command Trade should be replaced by Buy/Sell. Otherwise very good app.

I prefer this app version

Ameritrade ... I prefer this app version in my old iPhone 6 to the latest app on my new iPhone 11
