Don’t use this app on an iPhone

Heiajava

I bought a booster box of m21 cards and tried to scan them to my collection and it kept telling me my cards were from different packs and that commons were uncommons or rares. Honestly just get a cheap used android and use they’re version of the app it’s more consistent and accurate

Can’t scan

dnogc

Tried a million times and won’t scan cards in album out of album on top of plain paper this is junk and cannot even log in tried two email addresses

Effective but slow

SpiderFerg

The app does exactly what I need - find the cards I need and ship them to me. The one bad thing is that the app often takes more than 1-2 seconds to load a page! This is a cosmetic issue for sure, but by today’s standards this is glacially slow. Slow enough that I dread needing to use the app, even if it eventually gets me the results I need. Please implement caching or a new framework or something to speed up the app. This would hugely improve the user experience. On the positive side, the search functionality is superb and I can always easily find the cards I’m looking for. Fulfillment is also excellent. Cards are always shipped with protection and communication is easy. Whatever TCGplayer does to ensure quality on the seller side of the marketplace is working well.

Slow

Dave09742

They take too long to update their card database on the app, they push it so hard on their website but they’re like 4 sets behind.

Doesn’t recognize correct set symbols

Noonehas

The scan function is often wrong about which set the card is from. Frustrating.

Needs Landscape Mode and a way to filter out unused card games

Boba Ferret

I use TCGplayer on my shop’s iPad/register and it is fixed in landscape so to use TCGplayer I have to remove the register or hold my head sideways. We also only deal in Magic Cards, it would be really nice if we could tell the app to stop searching other games.

Slow

pswerever

How does it run so slow?? I’m on Iphone 8 not yet suffering from the apple throttling yet except it feels like I’m running tcgplayer through a first gen iPod touch in 2020 after a whole day of youtube while keeping it plugged in and it’s finally dropping down below 20% despite being plugged in. Crazy laggy, just use it on desktop.

Became unusable

instantsauce

I used to use this app regularly but since m21 came out it crashes every time I scan a card, and if I avoid scanning and just search the cards for price it crashes after a few times that way too. Just kicks me out of the app I open it again and it scans one cards registers the card is scanned crashes and kicks me out. I’ve delated and redownloaded multiple times to no avail. Can’t give more then a one star when the app is unusable in its curtain state.

Terrible Build & UI

JordyRulez

This is probably the slowest app I’ve ever had the displeasure of encountering. Seemed like a good idea to have this app. But it’s completely unusable on iPad Air Gen 3. Sooooooo yeah, good luck with that

Only Problem is the Scanner

CosmicDarkness

The reason why I am rating this 4 stars is because the scanner on the app. It has problems registering and cant pick up any darker artifacts or any mono black cards. Other than this I use TCGplayer player to buy all my cards.
