Showcase/Full Art won’t scan

Guy who just wants wifi

Downloaded the app to scan and check value of some cards. Anything that’s mono black won’t register in scanner and full art/showcase cards are the same. Very fast when it scans, but frustrated after trying to scan back cards for last hour

It’s just too slow

Roberttttttttttt

It needs updates to speed up the app and to make it look a bit better. I click on a card and have to wait 10 seconds before it loads the page. The camera works when I have the card on a pure white background with lots of light, but I could manually put it in faster since I have to adjust where the card came from and it’s rarity manually anyway. It’s nice to see my order history on here but that whole page just feels like a broken link to the website and is difficult to navigate. There’s not much of an app interface on this app.

Crashes

Crashes every time i go to scan

14 mins, then Deleted It

Ive had the app downloaded for 14 minutes and its been constantly buggy, slow and unusable. Its like the app jusy opens tcgplayer.com through safari. Except opening it and using it through safari would be easier. When the app doesn’t crash after searching for a card, the load time for results from just the drop down menu is inexcusable. It will load different screens when clicking results in the drop down menu, one you can click “add to cart” and the other you dont have that button at all. Each time I click to use the search bar, the keyboard comes up and leaves immediatly. You have to go through this process 3 times for it to stay for good, unless it freezes, crashes or takes the keyboard away and makes you click on the article under it. I left the tcgplayer site on safari to download the app. The site page and shop screen in the app are identical, making me think its just the sites homepage in an app. The point of having an app is so it is easier to use the service on a phone than messing with the awkward desktop site crammed onto a screen. This is simply not the case. I do not recomend. It operates like the app is unfinished.

If “program is not responding” was an app

Horribly slow app. When adding/removing cards to the cart, it takes quite a long time for the app to be responsive again. Searching for cards is just as much of a headache. If you needed a reason to support a local game store, this is it. Just go into the store and do your stuff there. Not only will it be significantly faster, you get instant gratification

Love this app

I was looking for an app to easily scan my Pokemon collection, an inventory is always good the have. Im loving this app. It scans great and i love how fast it is. Some cards don’t want to scan but those are either the dark ones or foils (shiny) but if you tilt abit the camera will get it. For a free app with this capability I’m impressed and will continue to use it. Scanning cards and exporting to clipboard so i can pull it in csv format into Excel is JUST what i wanted. I only gave 4 stars for the List Entry Options. No matter what I choose i can only select from Reverse Holofoil and Normal IF I MANUALLY enter a card.

Pretty good app

I like it. It’s nice to have to quickly look up the price and have baseline for how to judge pricing. It struggles to scan fouls but that isn’t a big deal. My only problem with it is sometimes it takes a second to do a proper scan and another it will scan everything from 5 feet away. Just a minute ago I was watching an arena draft on YouTube while messing with the app and it scanned 6-7 cards. Another problem I have with it is it can’t always tell the edition but that could be because the differences are too small to pick up. 4/5 stars.

The app is awesome

Hotginger219

It’s great for keeping track of decks and a collection, although it can get confusing when making your deck to keep track of how many creatures, instants, ect you have. Could you make an update where it makes a section for the card types so it’s easier to stay organized, that would make it a lot easier to keep from getting a headache when trying to brew and plan to buy some cards from tcg... OKO DID NOTHING WRONG

Might be the worst app I’ve ever used

T-Nasty95

It did not and would not scan my cards so I had to enter them in manually. Upon doing this it would not even bring up the correct card or allow me to see the 1st edition prices. Very complicated, though the layout seems simple

iPad horizontal mode not supported sadly.

Bruhool

Dont get me wrong this app is great, but other apps like BigArPoke do the job way better. The 2 issues are : This app can open vertically on ipad. But not horizontally. I would like the developers to update the app so us iPad Pro users can stick with using our keyboards. So, rotation needs to be supported soon. Also, for scanning the cards. It does a terrible job UNLESS it is on a white piece of paper with no cards around it. Very annoying as my cards are all protected in a binder. As i said earlier other apps are able to scan cards in my binders without having an “all white background” these are all suggestions of course but are very necessary if this app becomes number 1 for card collectors.
