Disappointing customer service

I’ve been with Taxbot for 5 years - since 2015. For some reason the app stopped tracking mileage at the beginning of March of 2019 and I didn’t catch on until sitting down to start taxes in January 2020. I spoke with another colleague who had the same glitch so I’m confident it was taxbot’s system, not my app. I got in touch with their customer service and “all they could do” was refund me for 4 months, even though their system hasn’t been tracking for 10 months. I understand return policies, however I believe very strongly in superior customer service and I didn’t get that with taxbot.
I live in hope!
Hopeless and sad
Had Taxbot since day 1. Each update works less and less. Now I’m left updating information manually into the program. Sad!
Keeps Freezing

My job requires a lot of driving. The app freezes everytime I try to update my mileage. I’ve been trying to update my mileage for the past two days and the app keeps freezing

Used it for years and it gets better as the years pass. I live at not and I use it to track all my business and personal expenses.

This app is overall awesome and I love that it tracks all of my trips and makes it simple to track my business deductions. The only problem I have with it is that it crashes frequently when I’m trying to manually input expense receipts. Not sure why, but I just have to reopen it and reenter the data for that entry.
Wastes time with difficulty reconnecting bank account

Taxbot is repeatedly disconnecting my bank account, which is not their fault. It’s my bank’s fault. What is Taxbot’s problem is the difficult, time-consuming affair of trying to reconnect my bank account each time. My bank account is currently disconnected. Why is Taxbot so inept and incompetent at reconnecting my bank account? Taxbot also has problems tracking my mileage accurately. Taxbot will not refund my money, as they say that it is 3 months too late. I would suggest prospective clients try QuickBooks’ Self Employed app instead, of which I am now using. QuickBooks prompts me to reconnect my bank account.
Add a bank function is seriously flawed

Please please please fix your add a bank. Its super frustrating to add or fix the credentials. I had an easier time figuring out my issues than the chat agent. I shouldn’t have to go to a desktop to link or add my bank because the app version doesn’t work properly. App has amazing potential but def not worth the 9.99 monthly charge as of now!
