Love Tastemade but your website and app isn’t working for me.

I made an account for Tastemade and when I put my name in for some reason when I went back, changed it to what it’s supposed to be (because It autocorrected my name) and kept going my name was AGAIN wrong even though I tried to fix it! When I went to my profile page there was no option to edit my name and so I tried logging out. When I went to login my password was now not working either. I then tried to change my password but when I went there the website would not let me tape in the bar to type my new password and kept pulling up something else. Maybe you won’t have my problem but MAKE SURE you have everything right while making an account.

This is actually an incredible app. As a disclaimer, there are a lot of things which one needs a Tastemade Plus account to view, but there are so many free recipes and videos it’s impossible to complain. You can open a recipe and export the ingredient list to another app, such as Notes or Email, or check off the list if you’ve pulled it open when shopping. The content is high quality. There is sponsored content and ads for the Tastemade shop (which is absurdly priced, I’m not sure they’ve realized their customer base is young, broke millennials) but not in the form of naggy bars at the bottom of the screen or obnoxious pop ups, as you might see in other apps. I do wish there was a written recipe with each video, because often there is not and this can make it hard to follow. Every time I open it there’s something new, both in terms of content and app features. I love this company and wish I was in a place financially where I could afford the paid subscription and support them better!

It won’t play videos?

I’ve had this app a while, and within the last month or two the videos have stopped playing. It’ll show me the recipe and instructions, but there’s a white box where the video would be that never loads anything. I’ve attempted to uninstall and redownload the app, I’ve restarted my phone, etc. Maybe the app just needs a bug fix, but it’s very annoying regardless.

I made an account to make recipes for my boyfriend and now they are gone, this app changed and it’s not for the greater good. Doesn’t even deserve a star

They changed the app and now all my saved videos are gone and they removed most of the videos that used to be on there. It's all shows now! Deleting.

I loved this app until it updated a couple of days ago! All my saved content is now gone and the new look is just confusing. Also, I paid for the yearly subscription and now I’m finding out that there is tastemade plus?! This is very disappointing, is there a way to find the recipes that were previously saved?

Bring back the previous version!

Do not like the newest version (v 4.920 or something) at all. I subscribed to Tastemade because it was so easy to search up recipes and loved that i can toggle between different versions from different countries Tastemade page, but the new version is confusing and full of fluff that i dont really care for and now i cannot find any of my saved recipe that i was super excited to try! What the heck!? bring back the previous version!!

I am a simple girl who likes to cook. Where are all the recipes?! That’s the reason I was paying the subscription. I don’t just want to watch episodes. The app was so easy now it’s pointless because I have to look up everything online. I’m even more made because I was in the middle of cooking while it updated and now I can’t find my buffalo grilled cheese recipe on the app. Very mad. The app is ok but also try to incorporate the recipes into it.
