Great iPhone database app

Transferred from Bento on my Mac to this. Not 100% exact copy on all Bento functions but close enough to make it work.

A dream come true

HelloitsDerek

Having my own databases on iPhone and have it sync flawlessly to my Mac feels like heaven. A modern UI with a beautiful design there is not a thing I'd change. Worth every penny!

Extremely useful and polished

Enza's Dad

I’ve been using Tap Forms for several months now on both Mac and iOS. It’s a very well-designed and for featured database, At least for personal use. The Mac and iOS versions work seamlessly with each other and sync effortlessly using iCloud. It’s great to be able to use your iPhone to create a database and capture data and have it instantly replicated on your Mac. It’s very easy to create a database on your iPhone or iPad and to link data bases. For someone completely new to databases, there is a learning curve. It’s not quite as easy as using a word processor or spreadsheet. The documentation, especially for someone new to databases, is a little bit incomplete. However, the developer is extremely responsive if you have questions.

Truly MAGICAL and REVOLUTIONARY❗️

Silverfoxidm

Truly MAGICAL and REVOLUTIONARY❗️ Tap Forms embodies the dream that Steve Jobs had for the App Store when such ***Star Developers*** as this, herein, i e Bren, personify solutions that become life to us users in making our lives so much more connected & creative. Tap Forms allows us to utilize older Bento dbase structures via BentoTemplate. Yet, it is so much more versatile and has the usability and possibility for the usual neophyte that has a somewhat organized mind; yet, doesn’t yet have present - day prgm’g language capability to write a program w/ such customizable versatility this app makes up all that deficit difference. The developer of this program app has such a multi-faceted skill set w/ technology (over 40 yrs) and a human touch that is unparalleled w/ the usual compile and link cmptr scientist. W/o a doubt, a very SPECIAL heart developed this inspiring program that will increase anyone’s discipline to success unimaginable.

Row does not delete from table type data

ProblematicNeon

After deleting a data from table, the row does not delete. It remains with blank spaces. Plz fix this and I will be very happy to upvote tapform.

TapForms really rocks!

I’ve been using TapForms for years! It’s always been good but the last couple of updates have made it great! How can anybody get excited about a database app? Well, if you haven’t made the following secure: your password protected websites, credit cards, banking pins, healthcare logins, software passwords, shopping sites, email addresses, dropboxes, buying club memberships, cloud logins, social media logins, etc, you will be hacked! It’s only a matter of time. If you are using a single password for more than one account or if you use common words that you can remember, or if your password is less than 16 places, You Will Be Hacked! TapForms keeps the dozens, or in my case, hundreds of complex passwords in a neat, password protected database that securely syncs between computers, cell phones, & tablets to make security mean something. Oh, it does more than what I mentioned, but keeping me truly secure is worth a million bucks alone! Check it out! Move into the 21st century!

Does the Job

Years ago when I previously had an iPhone I bought this app. I just bought it again. It remains useless if you use Microsoft Access. While it is easy to import a csv it is a nightmare to append to it or sync an Access file. I keep trying this app since it is a nice interface but there is a competitor who has a sync which will import and easily append using a csv... And with a bit more effort will sync with Access. Update The developer was responsive and while he did not resolve the issue he sent me down the right path. Importing the csv from Access... Export as Excel Then save Excel as comma delimited csv On tap forms set automatic as format (this is very important) Import Since I only use as read only I can re import by deleting all records and import again. Upping rating to 4 stars since syncing to Access is not possible. But for what I need this for it does the job.

Best database ever!

This app rocks, and so does its developer! I'm visually impaired, and use voiceover every day. I didn't know if this app was accessible, so I emailed the developer. He got back to me quickly, and said he was committed to making the app fully accessible, and invited me to test future versions! This app is worth its high price, even if its not currently fully accessible.

Brendan is a superhero!

Take away all my social media apps and all my other apps but don’t take away my TapForms! Over the years it has morphed into a magical interlinked life tracker that I rely on daily... nay, hourly! Um, minutely? Anyway, boy oh boy is this app customizable and tweakable to your—um, my—every Type A whim. And Brendan is so patient and helpful. Even when the mistake is clearly on me, like when I forgot to install the update which would’ve saved him all sorts of troubleshooting time, he didn’t give me sass but merely said no problem glad we figured it out. What a swell guy. For real. Worth every penny. And more!
