It's an alright app. It's good with having normal text chats, but it won't work when I try doing videocalls. Everytime I try it there's a problem. Sometimes the person I'm calling can see me but can't hear me, or I can't see or hear them. 2% of the time I've tried it, it's worked, but even then it constantly lags and the quality is far worse than other apps I've tried. I've reinstalled it quite a few times, and that hasn't worked either. The voice calling is alright, too, it's just sometimes it lags, and it also hasn't worked for me. Also, there's just this one other thing... Whenever I'm in the middle of doing something and someone tries talking to me but I'm too busy to be constantly staring at my screen, I would like a noise to alert me. But the sound that's there on the app is terrible. Whenever I hear it and it startles me, I nearly have a heart attack, and hearing it just a few times in a row gives me a headache. XD It would be nice if we had more sound options... At least, on the thing for Gmail. I don't know if there are different options for different account types, but eh, whatever. This one needs one. Bad. Well, since I've been a jerk about all of the bad things, I should focus on more of the GOOD things. With the text chat, it's usually fast and accurate, and is 95% satisfactory. It lags every once in a while, yeah, but that's usually because of the internet connection. And I like how you can add and get rid of contacts in your chat. It's proved to be useful and saves a lot of time. This app is flexible and can do a lot of things, it's just the few things I've mentioned above that's made me give it a three. XD But anyways, congradulations with everything else!
Needs iOS 5 update

Under iOS 4.3 this app works fine for connecting to jabber servers. Under the latest iOS (5) it errors out when trying to access the network.

I use it with my google talk and jabber account. It works great for me, but it would be awesome if they update the app to ios5, needs some push notifications

It is best of clients supporting jabber MUC. Push notifications work without problems. One thing I did not found: how to enable pop-up notifications for MUC messages. Looks like they was intentionally disabled. Will be good to have settings which allow to enable them.

When is app is first launched, it gives three choices for the type of sever: talkonaut, google voice, or xmpp. SIP is not an option for some reason!!

Doesn't support notifications, but excellent otherwise. Doesn't have support for xmpp muc moderator features it seems though. In line urls show error 999
Gtalk Calls Are Not Free

Installed this puppy and selected Gtalk as the protocol/service to use. Tried to dial a US number and the app said i didn't have enough credits to make the call… Hmmm. Gtalk within the US is free…. Looks like you have to pay for the Voip connection.
