App keeps crashing while trying to update

Need to get an update for the app. Trying to update lamps and the app continually crashes. If there is a short term fix to update other then going through the app advise.

The color smart bulbs work very well with the built in Home app but the SYLVANIA app needs a lot of work. It’s unusable in its current state but could be really useful if made better.

Ignore the other two, THE ONLY PURPOSE OF THIS APP IS FIRMWARE UPGRADES USE HOMEKIT APP FOR CONTROLLING. Works fine, it’s just a maintenance app.

Useless frustrating waste of time

I see it to check for firm ware updates, But I really don't give a f... I bought your product and have no way of using it. Get your IT head out of your butt and get us something that work No stars Nice developer response, but when I called Sylvania, they told me the device would not work with home kit yet. Might at some point. Also told me their advertising and packaging is not correct when it states smart plug and hub of your choice. All in all sylvania doesn't perform as promised or as advertised.

The Flex C could definitely use a firmware update. I check this app at least once a week hoping to find an update for these lights that will fine tune the colors. Particularly the way the Flex C handles shades of white and the interaction with HomeKit when adjusting the Kelvin temperature of the light strip. Also, it isn’t very smooth when adjusting the saturation level of colors in the Home app. Using other HomeKit apps, I’ve found there seems to be a hard line of saturation percentage where the Flex C switches the white LED off or on, giving either very saturated colors or shades of white. The saturation percentage of this threshold seems to vary based on the hue.

Had this app for maybe 5 minutes. Each time I downloaded it it refused to connect to my lights (I know what I am doing). The user interface was awful on the iPhone X. Seriously update this or your product gets stripped out of my home and replaced with Philips Hue, which work.
