I purchased a couple light bulbs recently and absolutely am impressed. It did take a while for me to set it up because I’m not too tech savvy but honestly this is amazing. Super fun for a chill night at home with some friends over. 10/10 would recommend!
can’t revert back to homekit

This is a buggy app. The product (a light strip in this case) is supposed to work with Alexa, but the skill that connects the two apps almost never works. Occasionally, you can turn the light on or off after several attempts, but usually it errors out with “device unresponsive”. Setting colors and brightness via the skill never works. For the app itself, things aren’t much better. The light can be controlled, but there is no way to set up multiple scenes, so you have to manually set the color and brightness every time you want to change things. Clearly, the developers of this app lack any pride in their work. The whole thing is just an embarrassment.

Firmware version is not visible, can’t rename or remove a device because it can’t get data from the cloud. Start over!

This has to be one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen in my life. The iPhone X optimization is a joke and it literally never works. Can’t connect to the lights that it was designed to connect with and doesn’t do anything. Update the app or I’m returning every one of my Sylvania bulbs for a full refund, simple as that.
