Awesome!

I used this for a last minute trip to Vegas. I was able to get a $35/night at the Tropicana (Doubletree). It was easy and quick and I highly recommend it!

Horrible experience.
please with the nickname

Booked a hotel at Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Arrived and they did not have our reservation. Ok, glitches happen... start messaging. No response for about an hour. Try the phone support and wait on hold for about 5 minutes before getting a message that we’ll get a call back and getting hung up on. Finally get a response saying they are looking into the issue - as we are standing there trying to check into our hotel. That was noon. It’s now 4pm and we have had limited contact and zero resolution as they are “looking into the issue.” At this point my wife has missed her prepaid hair appointment and we’ve finally just booked another room directly with the hotel so we can start enjoying our trip. We’ve requested a refund and had been told they are “taking it under consideration.” If you want to enjoy a trip, do NOT use. UPDATE: It’s the next day and there is still. I resolution here. We are out the money to room our room direct and SnapTravel has not refunded us - and they are saying they are waiting on some sort of written confirmation (from whom, we are not sure) before they can issue anything. For those that may not have the means to just book another room, I’m not sure what you would have done... once again, do NOT recommend.

FIRST TIME USER - Amazing Experience!!!

I too, was skeptical about this website and app. Never heard of it before. Did a few hour research online. Read through the “FlyerTalk” forums and other sites to see peoples feedback. Nothing but positive comments from other people whom have tried this service. So I went ahead and booked a 2 night stay at the Hilton in Page Arizona and also a 2 night stay at the Hilton in Las Vegas! The day before check in for both hotels, they sent me a text to my mobile number letting me know everything was good to go. When I checked into both hotels, nothing weird, it went smoothly as if I booked directly or if I used another known site like HotWire.com! No weird fees and no odd transactions on my card. Out of 3 hotels I’ve book for that trip, 2 of them were from SnapTravel. The 3rd hotel in California, I found to be cheaper on a different service. I would recommend this app, website and service, but I also recommend comparing prices to your personal favorite travel sites as well. Sometimes SnapTravel can be a few bucks higher, but it doesn’t hurt to check!

Awful customer service
thesexytraveler

Sent a text asking how to cancel or modify a reservation and it took like 20 minutes back and forward to finally telling me that i need to contact them by chat , I rather pay couple of dollars more at Expidia than going thru the worst customer service I have found so far

Beats Kayak’s Prices!

I love SNAPTRAVEL! The last two times we booked, Snap has beat Kayak’s prices by A LOT! We stayed at a Sheraton in Anaheim and a Kimpton in Sacramento for 50% off - it was amazing! The ease of texting on the app has me hooked. If there were a downside, it’s the inability to pick your bed type, but they gave us late checkout and a high room for fireworks at Disneyland - thank you, SnapTravel! I would also recommend to verify your reservation with the hotel directly - we were in the system within 48 hours after booking. I have recommended this app to all of my friends who travel!

Scam

This app is a scam. Read the other reviews- they take your money and then there’s no room at the hotel and they refuse to refund. DO NOT USE.

Do NOT use - Bad Operations/Bad Service
Freeds727

My Fiancé booked a room through snap travel. We got confirmation through It’s messages that we were ready to check in. We got to the hotel, they never received any details about our stay. They kept us waiting for far longer then the message said for service and were not responsive or helpful. Do not use this service.

Scam
AroundTheFur

They'll advertise a lower rate than competitors, get your phone number (which they likely sell to endless advertisers), get your credit card info, at the final stage of checkout claim "oops! Looks like the room is unavailable at the price we quoted!", charge your card anyway, and you'll have to fight to get your money back. Avoid this service like the plague.

Can’t reach customer service/never received credit
News smews

I “referred a friend” and they used my referral. I received a message saying I’d get a $30 credit immediately after the friend checked out from their hotel. They checked out and 3 days later no credit. I called, was put on hold for 20 minutes and then an automated recording said I was in a que to be called back. It hung up on me and I never received a call back. I emailed them. They never emailed back. I texted them through their customer service and they couldn’t help. They just said that they’d have a supervisor figure out why I haven’t received the credit and that they’d contact me within 24hours. I told them I needed to book a hotel before then so they said they would contact me sooner. It’s been way over 24 hours and I haven’t heard anything. So I messaged them again. No answer. Waited an hour, messaged again. Still no answer. So now I decided to go through a different app for hotels tonight and it was $6 less than what this one offered. Do they don’t even have the lowest rates. If I had received the credit they promised, it would have been the better deal and I would have used it in the future. I’ll never use it again.

Horrible experience

Don’t bother. It turned into a 2 hour fiasco and I never got confirmation or competent help.
