Best diabetes app

I look at Sugarmate all day and it’s a huge motivator towards keeping my diabetes in tight control. I love the widgets and the ability to flip between 1 day to 90 day views with a quick tap. I credit Sugarmate (plus the book The Diabetes Solution by Dr Bernstein!) with my under-5 A1c after 26 years with T1.

I just started on the Dexcom G6 and this app should be a required download for all users. It provides a much more aesthetically intuitive overview of your trends (compared to the Dexcom app and receiver, though I’m grateful for those when I’m just checking in), along with valuable data analysis. The predictive low push notifications have already saved me from several crashes and the A1C predictor gives you a nice sense of the bigger picture. Really well thought out and extremely helpful to managing T1D - 15 years in, I’m suddenly learning new insights about my body and behaviors. Huge thanks to the creators.

Besides destroying battery life and hanging iOS, I can’t really comment on any other features of this app. Absolutely awful.

Can you add IFTTT integration please? This will be super useful! Also, some Blood glucose level prediction in 30 min and 1 hour? IOB and COB? Also, why sometimes the app stops syncing and I miss notification unless I reopen the app to refresh? After all thanks for such for great app!!

I love my Dexcom G6 but my husband has a lag effect when trying to view my information on the Dexcom Share app. Sugarmate keeps him up to date! I love that most information is transferred to sugarmate but my only complaint I can think of is that events I report in Dexcom (insulin, food, exercise) do not transfer to sugarmate. I have to put the information in two places (Dexcom and sugarmate) so it’s repetitive and I can’t remember to do both sometimes. I wish there was a way for sugarmate to read everything from Dexcom but other than that it is great! It has caught steady highs and lows.

My Mom is a pretty brittle diabetic and has super lows at times. I can always rely on the Sugarmate call since added to my favorite list. It gives great info and seamlessly syncs with Dexcom. The new Apple Watch 4 doesn’t have the option for a complication for Dexcom on some faces, but the Sugarmate allows you to see data in the calendar, keeping me up to date! Thanks for a great app!!!!
