It doesn’t work for me

I downloaded Steam Link to my Apple TV and I have my Steam library open on my PC. I connected my controller to my Apple TV and paired Apple TV with my PC. I try to connect… and it crashes my Steam on my PC. I’m not sure why this is happening and I can’t find any answers elsewhere. Since I can’t use the app at all, and I even bought controllers in preparation, I have to give it one star, it doesn’t work at all and I don’t know why.

After going back and fort her after the game not ready the controller paired to my phone I just deleted the app. Sometimes the controller will work when starting sometimes it won’t. Can’t format to full screen on mobile or tablet so you get a smaller screen regardless of device.

From what I can tell there’s not much a point to using this. The reason I got it was so I could play a game I purchased, but because my computer is a MacOS 10.9 so I couldn’t play on there. When I tried using this so I could play on IPad Pro it wouldn’t connect to my computer even though I had Steam up and I could see the game I purchased. After that I tried to do the code thing but when I went to settings on my computer there wasn’t a place to put the code in and I’m not willing to buy a new computer just because of a game I really want to play.
Good streaming quality, but poor iPad mouse support

The Steam app doesn’t actually follow where the iPad pointer is, so there’s weird behavior when trying to use a mouse. Examples: randomly zooms all the way out in a game, triggering the notification center, control center, dock, and pop over apps on the right side. These all occur when the mouse pointer is no where near the edges of the screen. Mouse support needs to be improved, but otherwise, perfectly usable with a controller.
Terribly Laggy and Awkward

I've been testing this on and off for years, starting with the hardware Steamlink. All terribly laggy and awkward controls. Tested against iOS, Android, and Chromebook. This particular review was tested on iOS. Overall, pretty much unplayable even on a high speed Wi-Fi 6 connection with gigabit internet with 2021 devices.

you need your computer to be running on steam and then you can play on your phone but you could of just played on your computer

Windows 11 does not work with steamlink unless you were paired before upgrading. Love steamlink rough that I can’t use it on my new phone till this is fixed.
Missing Mac Drivers

Worked like a charm on a windows laptop. The drivers won't install on a Macbook. This software is way more complicated than it needs to be.
