Bought this for myself after Christmas. It is a lot of fun and works well. Gameplay is intuitive and challenging. Be sure to read the warning about playing in low light, or playing too close to a light source or near reflective surfaces; it really will mess with the game play; but if you heed those warnings, you’ll have a very smooth running experience.

BEWARE - Does NOT work on 6S

Beware beware beware

The AR does NOT work on a 6S, it projects everything upside down. We tried for hours and hours on Christmas Day trying to get this to work. We also had two chats with Lenovo who said they had no idea what the problem was, suggested talking to Best Buy maybe (really?) and suggested returning it. Only after checking a Lenovo community forum did we discover that it is not working on 6S for many other people. This is a problem with the app and since this device is sold as compatible with 6s you need to make it actually compatible with 6s. Do not suggest that we check the Jedi Challenges site if you respond because I have and it is if no help. Hopefully someone cares enough to make this right because I can’t imagine mine was the only boy that was disappointed this Christmas.

The equipment is a little expensive but the game is well done and I fell like they did a good job on the fighting. P.S. It would be much cooler with multiplayer

iPhone 6s lightsaber connection issue

The lightsaber says it’s connected on the app but I can’t preform the calibration action or get the battery level. I’m not the only user that is having the issue. EDIT: There is a fix for this issue. If your having a problem. First start the app, when it says to turn on the lightsaber, click and hold the force button (the black one on the top) then turn on the saber. At this point you can sync your lightsaber with success.

Like some other reviewers I can’t get the lightsaber to work. I returned the first one and got another one. Same thing happened to the second one. I have tried to make it work on a iPhone 6+, 7+, 8+, and a X. Worked on my X before I restored it but after I did my iCloud restore it has refused to work. I really want to use this but I had to take it back. I will keep an eye on this to see if they work out the bugs.

I have to use my daughters iPhone 6 Plus to play even tho the iPhone X says it’s compatible. Need a fix ASAP so I can play more.

Great fun but...

I had absolutely no problem syncing and the game work great as intended. Only problem, and its a big one. After 20 minutes mu brand new iPhoneX was very hot. This was my second phone. My first phone i played the game for 2 hours and my battery was never the same. Good thing i got the phone and game on the same day and ATnT gave me a new phone. I sadly will be returning this as i rather just have psvr and not worry about frying my phones in this game. Sorry. Wish i can say this didnt happen as i got ti Darth Vader before my phone fried. Plus no way to transfer saves between devices. Also i experienced alot if lag fighting vader. Still. Mad fun. Felt like a jedi.

I’ve seen that there are a number of not so good reviews of this game. I think they are wrong. I find this game challenging and fun to play. Each level adds difficulty and makes you work harder at strategy and physical abilities (yes, you will get a bit of a workout). Some have complained about the graphics and the VR lightsaber isn’t exactly in line with the one you are holding, but good heavens. You are in lightsaber battles with the likes of Darth Vader! Come on! That’s cool! And, we are really in the first real generation of VR here. It’s only going to get better. We can’t expect Battlefront 2 level graphics on VR from an iPhone...yet. ? I like the game a lot and I highly recommend it to everyone, especially a Star Wars fan.

I love playing the game, however I’m not able to play it on my iPhone X, so I can only play it on my cousins iPhone 7 Plus
