Lightsaber sounds went away!

EAOIceman

Revision/Upsade: lightsaber sounds fixed. Game is great! Who would have imagined 30 years ago when watching the movie, that today I could be fighting Dath Vader or playing holochess? Love it. It’s pretty much the only exercise I get! Lightsaber fights can be quite physical. ======= Previous review: What the heck? With recent update, there are no lightsaber sounds. Game not worth playing until fixed. Who was the idiot who approved this for release?!?! Does anyone even Beta these things? It’s a dead stick until fixed!!

The best for any Star Wars Fan.

I really love this game. One of the things that should be added is the possibility to dual against other Jedi like Anakin,Luke,Ezra,Kenobi and others.

Expanding

I really enjoyed the game(s) so far. I played for an hour and it felt like 10 minutes. Do you think there will ever be new apps to go with the AR gear from Lenovo?

Worth the price!!

I love Star Wars, it is my favorite movie series and now my favorite game! When I put on the headset I enter another world of lightsabers and force powers.

Almost perfect

Olirexro

Dear developers, I honestly would recommend this game to any Star Wars fan but I think it could be better. For instance maybe adding a feature that allows you to act as the hero in the defense missions to be a little more immersive. Also please add a flipping TIMER. So annoying. But other than that I think this game is pretty much perfect. Good job devs, very good job.

? Star Wars Jedi Challenges!! Highly recommended for Star Wars fans!!

Moi2004

I really love this game!! Super cool! I try to keep my phone charged to play. I love the duels the most because it’s like actually battling that enemy. But a few things. First, when I’m in a duel, sometimes the game will lag, causing me to lose the duel. It mostly happens with the Seventh Sister duel. Second, can you please add more lightsaber colors, such as yellow, white.. or even red? Would be really cool having more lightsaber colors!

Battle simulation

owen2411

Could be better still a great game but the last battle simulation level is near impossible and cannot be beat by me at least and I’ve tried several hundreds of times it’s the only thing I haven’t completed in the game needs to be a tad bit easier but over all great experience

Burnt ?

Vine?

You see, while I am a huge fan of Star Wars and how great this experience is, there are some painful cons within the use of the app. - I was taking my phone out of the visor and it had overheated because of the app, I need to take the phone out of my case to fit, and when I took it out I was burnt pretty badly. Maybe try to prevent overheating, hopefully this changes. ( I have been burnt a few times.)

Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is a phenomenal augmented reality experience that is a must have for Star Wars fans of all ages! The games are immersive, authentic, and will truly transport you to “a galaxy far far away.” The app features three modes: lightsaber battles, strategic combat, and Holochess (let the Wookiee win), ensuring that players have a robust offering of game content that will keep you playing for many months to come. Game Modes: Lightsaber Battles - This mode is the main draw, and it lives up to the hype. Wield your lightsaber against waves of troops and bosses from the prequel, original, and sequel trilogies. The lightsaber is responsive, and intuitive to use, meaning that novice gamers can jump into the action without having to overcome a steep learning curve. As you progress from system to system, you will find that the challenges increase in difficulty in a way that scales fairly. In other words, you will neither feel discouraged by defeat, nor bored by victory, as you will have to use all of your skills and reflexes to defeat each level. Strategic Combat - A simplified RTS (real time strategy) in which you position troop units and weapons across a map that you have to defend. You are able to interact with the troops in truly three-dimensional experience, including the ability to lean in closer to watch the action, or walking around the map to see it from from an alternate angle. The battles are intense, and put the “wars” in “Star Wars.” Holochess - Without a doubt, this mode will instill the greatest sense of nostalgia. My first time playing this mode, I was filled with such child-like wonder as I felt as though I were onboard the Millennium Falcon, playing with Han, Chewie, and Threepio. The game plays exactly as one would imagine based on the scene from A New Hope. The battle sequences between pieces are fully animated, and produce sounds, just like the movie! The only thing missing is having a visual representation of the computer opponent. I wish it were Chewbacca or C-3PO on the other side of the board! Graphics: Many believe that mobile games do not offer visual fidelity comparable to what is seen on dedicated gaming systems, but Jedi Challenges features highly detailed graphics that rival some of the best looking console games. Characters appear before you as vivid, life-size figures that seem to have stepped off the movie screen and into our reality. Audio: In the days of LucasArts games, gamers could count on every Star Wars game featuring the familiar hum of lightsabers, the scream of a Tie fighter, and the beloved musical work of John Williams. Though LucasArts is no more, Jedi Challenges continues the tradition of faithfully reproducing the soundscape of the Star Wars films. Every blaster bolt, saber swing, and Droid *beep* is accurately represented in this game. Overall: Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is a Star Wars fan’s dream come true. You won’t regret picking up the Lenovo AR headset, and downloading Jedi Challenges to your iPhone. Money well spent for a fan experience without compare.
