20 minutes of tutorial to not know how to play

Animmo88

Literally have to go through a long tutorial to eventually get into the game and then had no clue what to do. Wow, what fun, blah...

Honestly horrible

toenail2

It’s really horrible plus it doesn’t even say what to do this is the worst game I felt bad what I said so I left you a 3star

Clunky UI

yaddayads

Spend more time hitting the continue button than playing the game.

When I got this game, I thought it would be a 3D Star Wars game or something, but it it turns out you need a whole board game to do something with it. All in all, don’t play unless you have the stinkin’ Board game.

I don’t understand!!

This is soo confusing and the rules are very unclear ? I couldn’t do anything how can anyone play this game! I’m sorry but this is.... it’s....(Sigh)

Pretty good

Destructormk3

I’m an IA nerd. I’ve been obsessed with this game for over a year and I’ll just say I’m involved. I’ve played games against the champion of almost every tournament IA has had in the last year. I own every box expansion and have played with almost every figure in both skirmish and campaign. So far I have played 3 campaigns in this app, and I can definitely say this app is okay. If you don’t know what this app does, it essentially gives you another campaign for each box campaign you already have. (That’s 4 of you own every expansion.) after entering everything you own in the app, you can then play you’re campaign. The campaigns are completely new and decent enough. The biggest pro in my opinion is definitely that this app allows you to play IA alone. I have spent countless hours sitting at my game table playing Legends of the Alliance simply because I was itching to play something IA. (And needed to be able to leave at a moments notice without worrying about leavening someone lfg on Slack having wasted 30 minutes.) Another pro is the way doors are structured. If you have yet to open a door, you cannot see anything on the other side of it. Plus, even things that are around corners are invisible to you. There are also a few really creative map objectives that can only be accomplished through the app. The biggest con is definitely the bad guys and allies. Many of the abilities, mostly on allies, are pretty much impossible to use or translate. You will find that it is completely up in the air whether you can even use a given supply card. Plus, it’s way too easy to simply forget to wound a hero in the app and have to face way too many imperials. Most importantly, it’s just not as fun to have to log everything in an app. While the app unlocks many things you wouldn’t otherwise have with IA, it’s simply not as fun as playing with real people. There is just so much to do in the app (and so much that doesn’t translate well) that it’s not as fun as the real thing. But that is definitely not to say the app is bad. It does as advertised. For a free app, it’s a great extra thing you can do. But while the app is free, the game isn’t. If you already have the game, I would very highly recommend that you try the app. The solo play is great if you simply have no one to play with and the co-op is fine enough if you have to play co-op. Just be sure, no matter how you play, that you always select 4 players. Divide up the 4 heroes how you want but be sure to pick 4. If you are buying the game for the solo and co-op play, I would recommend that you spend your money somewhere else. There are better solo games out there. If you have only played IA against the app, then you haven’t truly played IA. It’s fun, but not only is it not as good, but there isn’t enough content in the app to make the 100 bucks worth it. If you’re already considering getting IA but barely edged it out until you saw the app, then I’d say still get it. The app does what it claims so if you can get past some weird figure interactions and a lot of app tracking I think you’ll be happy. I play IA at one of the highest levels there is so if your more casual, most of my arguments probably won’t apply. The UI is very easy to use and the control are very easy to understand so for those who don’t necessarily need the purest IA there is then give then you will be perfectly fine with the app. If you’re big into the skirmish mode, I can confidently tell you that the app will not help with that. Please, I beg you, if you care even a little bit about the skirmish mode, be sure to check out the IACP. Believe it or not, IA still has a very active community with amazing people and balancing changes for almost every unbalanced card in the game. (Not to mention new figures like Mando, Mara Jade, and Yoda) Just go to the Imperial Assault Continuity Project website and you’ll find everything you need. Also, be sure to check out the Slack channel. I should mention before I conclude, that there is another option other than this app. It uses the same campaigns as are in the campaign guides but it is way more accurate than this app. Overall not bad! It does what it says it does, and it’s not perfect at all, but still pretty good!

Great app dumb people

Jcman340

A lot of dumb people left bad reviews because they didn’t read the description and thought this was a stand alone game. It clearly states that it’s a companion app for the board game.

Very… very, Disappointed…

sir lols

At first, this game had me going… but, due to the lack of work in this game. I have my issues, but the main issue is that you can’t see your character(s). Also… “end character?” Why would that be a feature? And due to the fact that you need the board game to play, due that -1 stars, -2 stars. Developers… please please pleaseeeee fix these issues. I’d rather eat my own eye-ball than buy the board game, but anyways… not bad.

Ttt

???????

I would give this zero stars if I could
