Every time they do an update for this game, my game won’t load for hours. The recent update 2-9-2020, I haven’t been able to log in all day. I have deleted the game like 5 times and reloaded. Nothing works, I’m really exhausted from all issues that this game has.

New build (27) does not launch

This game has been nothing but trouble with each new build, now the game will not even launch (it gets stuck at 15%). As much I have given this game a chance to try and improve there just no hope at this point. After playing this “game” for over two years now, my advice would be not to download this game.

Click and Wait

There’s no actual game here. Everything is just click-and-wait. Wait to build. Wait to upgrade. Wait to research. Wait to travel to another system. Wait to travel inside your current system. Even the “combat” just has you click and wait three seconds to see if you win. Your base is “built” with predetermined structures in predetermined locations in a predetermined order. There are no actions to take in combat. The missions are of three varieties: fly somewhere, give someone resources, or fight someone. There’s no gameplay to engage with or any choices for the player to make. You just click and wait. Also, in the opening sequence Scotty instructs you to kill some raiders because (to paraphrase), “They’d just steal from us and they deserve no better.” Has anyone at this company watched an episode of Star Trek?

I just started playing but can’t do anything because of a stupid glitch that tells me to dock my ship even though it is docked. Star Wars is better anyway. Live short and stay poor.

The age rating of 12+ should honestly be raised. This is a pay to play game and cyber bullying is rampant. I’m surprised CBS hasn’t pulled Scopely’s licensing for Star Trek. I have been threatened in game on multiple occasions and when reported got the response from Scopely that it’s a pvp game so play on. Good memes Scopely. If you want to compete and play be prepared to shell out $1000’s, yes thousands of dollars. I am not exaggerating. Otherwise you’re gonna be a punching bag, in game and in chat for whales who take this game too seriously. Scopely’s pvp game mechanics are broken and favor the player with the higher credit card limit. Best advice I’ve gotten, go play Eve.

This game definitely invests some money into its efforts to drain your wallet. Every aspect of this game is geared to encourage users to buy upgrades, ranging from $5 to $100, with many opportunities to hit those triple digits every month. You CAN play this game without investing a paycheck-per-month, but the higher level you get, the less opportunity you will have to win daily rewards. This game also does a horrible job of portraying the honor of the Klingon Empire or the Nobility of the Federation. Everyone is a villain and they dance around moral arguments frequently, rewarding a bully-centric attitude. There is even a motto "shield or share" where higher level players justify stealing hard-earned (or easily purchased) materials from other lower-level players unless the deploy base shields (which, conveniently, you can purchase from the store!) What this app does right is beautiful graphics, lots of content, and a fun and engaging technology tree. However, there is limited strategy in this game, as combat is basically predetermined at the onset, and there is nothing you can do once combat starts.

I gave this app five stars simply because it’s a great game and it’s constantly changing and growing. This app will be here along time to come and yes like most games today it has pay to play but what games these days doesn’t? But you can choose to pay or not and play the long game I do both . So enjoy and live long and prosper.???

I would like to start by saying that I really enjoy this game for the most part but I have to let you know that this this months battle pass is terrible it’s hard to navigate I don’t find the prizes useful. I have read the instructions for four times now I have asked everybody in my alliance what’s going on nobody has a real freaking answer I really wish the scope he would kind of back play the stuff don’t make it easier just make it less confusing.
