Don’t purchase expansions

I tried to purchase the expansions and the app stole my money. It won’t let me play the expansions. Don’t bother with this app.

I’ll be honest with you, I’m an IT guy and even I thought card games like this were for “nerds” lol. But don’t be fooled, if you are a competitive person, enjoy a good challenge or just miss the simple pleasure you used to get from playing NES back in the day; you’ll enjoy this. It does cost a couple bucks to unlock the ability to play online but it’s well worth it. The real-time battles become surprisingly immersive and quite entertaining. All in all, a solid 5stars from this guy.

The game has a cool aesthetic and I really enjoyed the mechanics.But the developers want you to pay them for the right to keep paying them,which I can’t recommend.

First let me say that I am a huge Star Realms fan. I have been a kickstarter supporter and I own every card printed for this game, including promos. That said, the size of this game (over 1 GB) is not worth the gameplay. I purchased quite a few iOS games for my phone. Currently Star Realms is the largest in memory. The developers absolutely must find a way to make this game smaller or I will be forced to delete it and I guarantee it will keep others away from purchasing.

1 Star because of new update. Very disappointed with the developers. New update took away pass and play which was previously free and put it behind a paywall. This was the only reason I would open the app to kill time occasionally with a friend. DO NOT UPDATE or you will have to pay to pass and play.

I really love this game. The issue is in the randomization. Maybe I just have insanely bad luck, but cards that can scrap seem to have a significantly higher chance of being drawn following a shuffle. This eliminates any benefit from them. It’s not uncommon to have the only two or sometimes even three in an opening hand following a shuffle. Should definitely be looked into because that adds a degree of difficulty that was not intended for the card game.

Since 2008 i use app store. It’s easy to make IAP. I just want to buy full version of this game with all expansions. Simple. But developer thought that they are so smart, in order to buy fullversion you need to register on their stupid online system, which doesn’t work. No one on the app store thought about such silly idea. You won the prize. Because your online code is full of bugs, i cannot buy your game, i need to register. First time i chose user name, which already exists, because of that your system doesn’t allow me to register anymore. It says that it’s allocated under username which i chose first time when i tried to purchase. But remember, this username is already taken. It’s a circle. Fix your bugs, hire normal coders and forget about your registration process, which doesn’t work properly. Allow users just to buy your game as normal apps do
