Spectacular game, solid app

Ciago

Love the game, I've played over 7000 matches against humans and many more against the AI and campaign. Tons of value for what you pay into it, free starter setup so you know you like it, what's not to love???

Air cheats

Shadoeryder

Seems every time the AI manages to pull the exact cards it needs to pull it back from the edge while at the same time your deck suddenly runs dry. If it only happened every so often it wouldn’t be a big deal but out of six games it happen six times. In every game I had a twenty point or more lead only to watch the AI suddenly pull hands of15 damage multiple times in a row and I suddenly couldn’t even get to 5. I have another of this companies games and it does it as well. Uninstalled

Fix this.

Josh to tha G

Currently giving 1 star due to a simple fix not being made. If you play stealth needle first by accident, that’s it, it copies nothing. Very stupid. I have a small phone and big fingers so occasionally my fingers slip. With other cards it will ask if I meant to play this card or make me use the ability. Not with stealth needle though just completely messes you up.

Too big!

BookOwlNC

While I love star realms, this app is way too big! There is no reason why this app needs to be over 600 megabytes. Please reduce it back to the size it was before.

Great card game adaptation

Code6

Sure the UI can be a tad rough around the edges, but it plays great, and Pass / Play is a lot more convenient than actually setting up the card game.

Terrific game

Zonk1770

A really fun deck builder. The UI provides a good challenge. Animations, even on the fastest speed setting, were unfortunately slowed with the last update. For example, when selected, hero cards weirdly slide up for a few seconds before joining your deck, slowing the game. Please fix on the next update. Thanks.

Great fun

Mountain Slayer

Great implementation of an already great game.

Cool game, but with shady pricing and terrible interface

JulyStern

It’s a cool game, with a fairly well balanced game mechanic. That said,... Pricing is deceptive. I paid $4.99 for the “full game”, and then learned that they wanted me to spend another $36 to actually get the full game. These are priced in modules, each module costing between $1.99-4.99, and giving a new campaign chapter and some new cards. Not the full game. The $4.99 is just a sucker punch that gives you *one* new chapter and the “hard” AI setting. The iOS interface is really wonky and frustrating. There is no dragging, only pressing. Sometimes I have to press a card twice to activate it, but If I press too fast, it opens a pop-up. Other times, pressing a card twice opens a pop-up. Other times, pressing a card twice just toggles its selected state. As others have mentioned, the AI is pretty stupid, especially at the end of a game when it can take you out but instead continues its turn. In all, it’s a fun game, but I’m not going to spend $41 for an electronic game (low overhead) with crappy GUI — especially when developer advertises that the full game costs $4.99!

Love the game, but purchases stuck registering

Templhaven

Purchased expack(s) and now app is stuck on “Registering purchase...” screen. Am waiting for a fix so I can play again.

Real change needed is here, forget complainers

TimI337

I have read some review whining about things they want better, they’re just complainers. 1) Online, there needs to be a prompt that forces you to turn down a rematch (at least up to 2 out of 3 wins/losses). As it stands, the real time challenge system is broken as a form of rematch. No one ever accepts the challenge when real time. 2) When scrapping a card there needs to be a prompt asking something along the lines of “are you sure you don’t want to scrap?”, because many times I have tried to scrap something in my discard pile and my shaky fingers accidentally double tapped on the discard pile, which immediately opened and closed the discard pile without any chance to select a card, telling the game not to allow me to select a card to scrap
