A great quick alternative to physical game

My wife and I play on the online mode when we are hanging out at night and don't feel like having the cards all over. We have never had it crash and it works very smooth. Have not bought many upgrades yet.
This app is dead

Was one of my favorite time sinks before the "Real Time" update a few months ago. The last few times I tried to play a game I got the "no matches found" message. No one plays anymore and I can't say I blame them. Maybe everyone is playing colony wars now, I don't know. In any case, the base game is dead.

After all these years, still a mediocre port

I enjoy playing Star Realms, but after all of these years the app still remains a mediocre port of a desktop application. Why are we tapping on arrows to scroll through cards on a touch screen device? This makes no sense and is extremely counterintuitive and cumbersome. This latest updates makes the stealth needle morph into the card you clone. This is fine unless you want scrap the card you copied; you have to be careful to scrap the original and not the copy with no visual clues, just logically remembering that the original came first. The AI is infuriating at the end of games. It will play out complete turns even when it can already end the game. Real fun when it has two battle screechers and you get to watch the painfully slow animation of shredding the whole tableau of cards twice (I have NEVER seen it scrap less than all of them) while you’re sitting there with 5 health and the computer already has 38 attack. I have a notification badge on my iPad icon even though I have no active games. My friend does, too, so it’s not just me. So irritating. I’ve tried everything I can to delete it, but even removing the app and reinstalling only works until the next time I play online and then the notification is back. I appreciate that one price unlocks tablet, phone, and desktop apps but I really wish they would put more effort into the iOS app.

I have played mission 9 rage against the cult and i can not even get close to winning. He always gets just the right cards to counter me. And this isn't even on hard mode. Im sorry i understand games need a challenge but this is story mode i shouldn't have to waste 3 hours and 50 tries at this mission. This is not worth the 5$ you pay

First of all, this is a deck-builder not a TCG. Second of all, they nickle and dime you on everything; I'm not going to pay five dollars for eight more cards. And lastly, the AI is impossibly stacked against you. Even on medium difficulty, the AI is immediately able to chain up to twenty cards (I've seen it) and defeat you within five turns of the start. Pathetic attempt to imitate a good card game. Refunded.
Expansion Purchase Process is Annoying

This is a fun game, but the process for purchasing expansions is unnecessarily annoying. I would have probably purchased all of the expansions by now, but they force an online login. Please don’t support this company through Kickstarter until they get these basic processes fixed.
Easily one of the best games on the iPhone.

The app is great. Don’t let the negative reviews fool you. The computer really is not that difficult. I usually win 3/4 games against the AI on hardest setting. The missions are for training and introductory purposes (though there are some super fun variants in there). The real meat of the game is the multiplayer which is fantastic. As with other good games, you pay for expansions to support development of new cards and features being added in lieu of paying a monthly fee for online pay. Very fair trade. You need this game on your phone. Plain and simple.
Resume Game Ability

My wife and I play this game almost daily. We are closing in on 1000 games against each other [sadly she’s slightly ahead of me in victories]. We have enjoyed your updates. HOWEVER, the removal of the ‘resume previous game option’ for pass and play is annoying. That was a great feature we used often.
