My kids like to listen to a wider variety of music. This app only allows them to listen to Pre determined playlists. It would be nice to let parents create our own playlists.

Ok so I just downloaded this app like, just a second ago and then was quick to delete it. It made me have a Spotify subscription thing which was fine by me except it didn’t even give me anything to make the subscription with every time I clicked no I don’t have a subscription it sent me to the same screen with all the things you can get with a subscription but only one button that said back so when I clicked it it sent me back to the do you have a subscription screen. Once I clicked yes to see if there was something I could make a subscription with like a button that I could push to make it. Nothing. This app was a complete waste of my time, and probably yours too if you don’t already have a subscription. I would not recommend this app to you or anyone else. Sorry for being so negative. Thank you for reading. P.S. To the Spotify people, please make it where you can get in it without a subscription or make a button that you can push so you can make a subscription. Also I love your app Anchor and I highly recommend that.

Edit: Thank you so much to the Spotify Kids developers for responding to my review! ❤️ So, I think this app has alot of potential. But before I can fully embrace it, I need some things to change. First of all, I know this may be a big thing to ask, but we NEED more music. Right now there are almost no classical or instrumental prices, and absolutely no music that was written more then 20 years ago. I love old music, and I think you should give kids an opportunity to be exposed to it too. Also, playlists. For example, my little sister who uses this app, loves Christmas music and Kidz Bop, so she has songs from both of those genres all jumbled up in her liked songs, and she has told me she wishes there were a better way to organize them. hence, playlists. One more thing I would like to see added are podcasts. I understand some people might not know this, but there are a lot of podcasts out there that are kid freindly, and some even made especially for kids. So it doesn't really make sense that these podcasts are on normal Spotify and not Spotify Kids. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are still things I love about Spotify Kids, like I love how the existing playlists are designed, and that parents have the ability to ban songs they don’t want their kids listening to. So, if Spotify changes these things, this app will be AMAZING!!

Add Spotify Connect/Chromecast Speaker Support

Playlists have been added!! Awesome, thank you! *Please* add Chromecast/Spotify connect support for speakers too. I really want to allow my kids to listen to their music on my *Spotify Connect* speakers (and Google Chromecast smart assistant speakers). I love the idea of the app, but headphone/Bluetooth only is a real deal breaker. (And I don’t want them to use my Spotify account for our speakers and mess up my music recommendations algorithms lol)

So I love Spotify kids but some issues first it doesn’t have some songs that are appropriate second when I go into my sisters account and I’m offline it locks me in there thanks for reading this review.?

Only the family account manager can sign in to the app. Only the family account manager’s playlists can be shared to the kid. Most children have TWO parents. The icing on the useless cake is it can’t play to Spotify connect speakers that I could find. The only advantage of this app over creating a real Spotify account for the kid is that one phone can have both accounts signed in at the same time. (As long, of course, as your kid has one or fewer parents!)

So my dad bought this app for me to listen to music I like so far I have been listening to songs I like but when I searched the names of my favorite ones, it doesn’t have any of them I’ll list all the things I’ve searched Toxic (Britney spears) Wolves (Selena Gomez) Ride (Twenty One Pilots) Stitches (Shawn Mendez) In the name of love (Bebe Rexha) Diamonds (Rihanna, it showed Sam smith which I do like diamonds a lot but I also wanted Rihanna’s diamonds) I was so sad ? that they weren’t available, can u please please please add them in the app I have no other way to listen to them and they are my favorite ones, I would give 1000 (if it were an option) stars if you added them. Also just saying some songs are only available in kids bop version which I don’t really like kids bop so yeah I hope you could change this. Overall the app is amazing ??? I love it so much This is all I wanna say byeeeeee ?
