I’m unimpressed with the selection. For example, why only have one song available on Spotify kids when multiple versions are available on normal Spotify? I would like to broadcast the music across Bluetooth to a house speaker but cannot. And finally, it seems clunky to have two apps for music when they could have everything on one with better parental controls. I do really like just picking a playlist and knowing it is safe, but why can't that just be on normal Spotify? For my family, using normal Spotify is still a better choice and we will continue to be selective.

This app has saved my weekly playlists from having kids music. Thank You! Glad to see the shared playlist is finally working too. I would love to see shuffle be turned off please.
Spotify Premium Family but not Spotify Premium?!

I’d really like this to be available for regular Premium subscribers. It would be great to be able to use this app when listening with our little one and the normal app when listening ourselves. Our little one doesn’t have their own device so we only have one stream going at any given time. Please consider allowing your paying Premium customers to use this app so I can edit this review to ★ ★ ★ ★ ★. Thank you.

Super excited to have my kids try it out. But right off the bat, they were annoyed, as was I, that they weren’t able to make their own playlists. And couldn’t listen to songs that they were searching for. Maybe because they were “adult songs”? In any case, looking forward to the next update where some of these issues have been ironed out.

Can’t believe this is made by Spotify, who’s leading in providing great customer experiences for music. This app does not even have a repeat button.. nor queue control... a lot of pain to use this

Isn’t this just supposed to block explicit songs THE ANSWER IS NO and I don’t respect that I tried searching up cg5 prom dress flamingo and nothing came up my dad did family premium and I’m eight and I can even see this app is trash they could’ve just block explicit songs but they did more making it terrible
Great app, but biased much?

It is a great app but it has songs with cuss words, inappropriate themes, yet there is still NO Christian RAP! There is so much Christian rap and you have none, but you have a song that says the b word, d word, and talks about sleeping with someone. Also it has three songs from the new Ariana Grande album. That album is NOT FOR KIDS. it is completely about relationships and every song has cuss words. The only reason I know it is bad is because of my friend who is an adult!!!! So yeah, if you add Christian rap, we’ll be cool, but srsly. You guys are biased in your choosing of songs, and I would understand if you didn’t have the rights to it but you have none. At all.
Good app but...

I listen to Spotify kids, and it is a good app. It should have more songs with a wider variety. I thought it would be like Spotify without the social features. I would like it If you could make playlists and if a song had explicit content or something, a parent or guardian could approve the real version or a clean one.
