Good/useful

Not many apps are actually useful but this one can be. I like the bike path feature, though it should have an opacity control. The lines muddy up the screen from great height. Pretty decent though. Now that it's spring maybe it'll get some revisions.

It now includes directions!

The new update lets you get directions to where you're going so it's a lot easier to find the best route to the Hubway station next to the destination. Great update!
New version is hard to read

It now is quite a visual challenge to dee the available bikes/docks in the map. The tiny little number in the map pin makes me wish I had the eyesight of an under-50 year old. It really does make using it by my age group harder.
Love the app, don't love the last update

As of the last update the time from when I start the app to when I have current numbers for how many bikes there are at my favorite stations has gone from a few seconds to several minutes. Of less concern but still disliked, they did away with the icon on the main screen when I'm viewing my favorites to show the others with just a single touch. They also make multiple stations morph into a consolidated total for the area much too soon when you zoom out. So now instead of being able to see all my favorites at once, I have to stay zoomed so far in that I can see only about 3 of them. Hoping to see another update that works more like it used to.

The new app is 2x better looking and 5x harder to use. The auto-clustering makes it harder to see if there's a bike nearby. It's less clear to see when the bike data was last updated and I head to spots that don't have bikes when the app says it does. Overall, this app update makes me less likely to renew my bikeshare membership.
Latest version doesn't update bike docks

No updates on which bike docks are free. Absolutely no help when trying to contact customer service despite several attempts.
DC Map and Station Info Wrong

Spotcycle is no longer displaying accurate info in DC. Useless until this gets fixed.
Great for stale dock info

I don’t know if Capital Bikeshare is rate limiting their access now that they’ve launched their own branded app, but this app has taken a sharp turn for the worse. Inaccurate data that refreshes slowly will lead to endless frustration as you try to find a station with available docks. Freshly deleted from my phone.
