Using the first gen iPad for most new apps is a hassle. Not with Splashtop for Business. I have been looking for a good Logmein replacement and with this I have found it. Purchasing a business license was about the same price as purchasing the original Logmein app. So for unlimited computers and the great features it was a no brainer. Using this with Windows 8.1 brings new life to an old iPad. Tapping into my main desktop with splashtop creates an unrivaled feel. They have done a nice job building hooks into the touch interface and make its simple to use. Since I have switched I haven't looked back.

Have used GoToMyPc and LogMeIn to connect to my office in the past. Additional features in Splashtop allows me to complete my work from home. Response time is fast.

I have moved all my clients to Splashtop for business. So far no issues I can not work around. client like the dual security you can enable. Cut on site service request by at least a third.
Not suitable for iOS 8 & iPhone 6

The app worked fine on my iPhone 4 and older iOS, but crashes every time when I try to connect using the new iPhone. Do not bother using until Splashtop announces a fix.
