Connect your Droid to your Apple Watch and use the buttons on screen to move it around. Your Droid will follow your commands moving in whatever direction you command using your watch. Twist the digital crown to aim the Droid.
This app requires an Apple Watch and compatible Star Wars App-Enabled Droid by Sphero. Compatible products include BB-8, BB-8 Special Edition, BB-9E and R2-D2.

The app will say connected but it’s not the droid doesn’t even register that is connected to the watch. Stuck using my phone which is a bummer cause you can’t take videos while driving the droid.

After finally getting the app to show up on my watch (took restarting my iPhone and Apple Watch), I was able to get up and running with my Watch + BB-8. SUPER fun. Only thing I wish it had was a way to make BB-8 talk while moving him with the watch. No better way to torment my cats. :D

Didn’t allow me to aim R2 the first time I tried to use it. Now it won’t drive R2 after aiming worked. Ultimately, I’m missing something or not useable. The documentation for this product is severely lacking and icons alone in the iPhone app are not sufficient. I’m disappointed overall.

I'm constantly left in the opening screen "searching for droids", finding nothing even though I have two sitting right in front of me. (BB-8 and BB-9E both fully charged. I even tried opening up the Star Wars app and it was unable to connect to my watch. You would think of the cost of the watch and the droids, that it would work but that's expecting too much.

Very cool to use your Watch like the Force Band but it would be more enjoyable if some of the droid emotes and other controls were also available here, like iOS App. Please update with more options besides drive mode! Thanks!

I had been looking forward to use this. My girlfriend have me a droid as a early Christmas present. I wanted to play with it using my watch but the Apple Watch app instantly crashes. I tried reinstalling it but still nothing. Really disappointed.

None of the functions shown on the screen actually work to control my R2 unit. “Spin crown to aim” only attempts to spin the screen up and down on the watch. “Move the joystick” does nothing to move the droid and sometimes doesn’t respond onscreen. Sphero should be embarrassed to have published this app and should withdraw it until it works.
