I got this amp for my birthday and it’s amazing. It has the technology of a tubeless amp and the tone of a tubes amp. It has great backing tracks and any pedal you would ever need. I also love that you can plug it into your phone and just use it as a Bluetooth speak for listening to music. It’s small and packs a lot. Made with really nice materials and it just feels high quality and expensive.

I loved this amplifier and the accompanying app. But for now I’m giving this one star. Guitar input failed after one week,I’ve tried everything including multiple guitars, changing cables, rebooting/resetting the amp, updating the firmware and it still doesn't work. Additionally the Bluetooth connection worked but only about half the time. Now it doesn’t work at all. Reading customer reviews, which I should’ve done before, shows these are known problems the company has failed to solve in over nine months, yet is still shipping a defective product. No response from technical support after two tickets.
Needs 3 Fixes, then it’s the one.

1. Connectivity issues, (cable basics) you know which ones... 2. Weak foot control options 3. Battery Portability options 4. Positive Grid integration, yes this the biggie...

After each software update i get new and interesting bugs the current one does not play music through the app but at least on this one i get to hear my guitar. Last one was opposite

Terrible support, this thing is dead. I have tried all the troubleshooting tips online. Great amp if it is working. Don’t buy!

The reviews on YouTube of this thing are not 100% honest. The deep low end makes it almost impossible to get a good tone out of certain guitars. The modulated effects are so generic that it seems like a copy of a copy of a copy of a $15 pedal for each pedal option. Not only this, myself and tons of others when updating the firmware have had their amps become unusable bricks for some reason. I had high hopes for this practice amp and it is morning more than a good paperweight.

I’ve been playing Praise music for decades - and although I’ve tried to keep up with the digital changes - I’m still analog at heart - in part due to my disdain for complexities in DAW, programming stomp, and the excessive “cleanliness” digital sounds provide. Positive Grid obviously did their homework- this Spark App works seamlessly with the lil speaker. It took a couple of times initially to get both the app and Spark Audio components to synch together… but I followed directions and removed all other Bluetooth connections and I was playing. The amp sims are numerous, and the pedal offer you the ability to work out tones while working up song sets. Their not perfect by any means - but not bad either. The bonus’ functions relating around practice aides offer new players so much in the way of feedback it’s amazing it’s all included in the price of the actual speaker box! Legit! I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to further their skills, new and established players alike. Plug in a decent headset and you can jam silently. Very impressed by the system - I pull song backing tracks off YouTube or music apps and I can speed up or slow down tempo, change sounds. If your serious about improving your playing the Spark Amp and App will be of benefit to you.
