What a great idea, pay up of you don't reach your goals! This app has been the ONE AND ONLY habit forming app that has worked for me. A small hint to new users: if you don't see challenges displayed at first it's because you aren't following anyone. When I first got the app I went and found some people to follow. Once I did all of their challenges coming up showed up for me. Following and being engaged in the chat is what makes this app great. Cheers, David

At first, The helpdesk was nice. But after a couple challenges with the app, and a few emails later, I got a response that basically said were not interested in your urgent emails or feedback. If the app was working well, I wouldn’t be reaching out to get help. I’m frustrated with the use of the app, and now super disappointed with the response from their team. If I was running a company, I’d be really interested in my customers experience and feedback, Apparently that’s not how things go at SPAR.

Check ins won’t upload, getting charged

Update — they resolved my issue. I still won’t give 5 stars because they do have this uploading problem. But happy they were able to help. This app was soo good for a while. And now so many check ins have trouble uploading. There’s A LOT of glitches. Because one of them wouldn’t upload in my attempts to delete it to record another the check ins never updated and remained as if I completed the check ins for the week. Only to find out once the new week started that it marked 6 missed check ins which is impossible because the challenge was only 5 check ins a week and all 5 checking were there when you went back to look at them. I’m not being charged for all those missed check ins for something completely out of my control. I’m just waiting till I’m im done with these challenges and I don’t plan to continue the app until they fix these issues. Not when all that money is on the line. I’m so disappointed.

Glitchy & rude customer service

They literally kicked out group of the app and wrote rude and insulting emails is response to genuine and polite requests for assistance. It appears this company is run by millennials who have no concept of customer service. It's unfortunate because they have a cool concept.

The owner of this company sent the most nasty e-mail I have ever seen. All in response to some questions around how to get the most out of the app. So unprofessional - clearly customers are not valued and the owner needs to go take some courses on how to build a business, beyond just stupid technology, which anyone could copy. Because of what I have witnessed I have already steered several groups that I lead as a professional facilitator away from apps and suggested they use alternatives, that quite honestly work better than this app and come with none of the crazy hostile customer service.

I LOVE this app. It has absolutely changed my life this year. If you have read as many books about habit change as I have and are frustrated with not being able to stick to new habits, you owe it to yourself to give this app a shot. This is social media as it should be - communities pushing each other for positive growth. I’ve started a daily push up routine and 3 months in I am much stronger than ever. I finally picked up the guitar I bought years ago to teach myself to play. And I’m in a great book group sharing our thoughts each week. And as a nice bonus - you can actually win some money just for sticking to your goals! To the developers, I love the growth and changes. But I would still love to have the pinned check in feature for my profile. I was using it to track my progress starting to play guitar and some fun check ins where my kids joined me doing push ups. Thanks for creating such an amazing tool!!

Used to love this app, now is broken

Finding existing challenges has always been not a great experience on this app, but you used to be able to browse all, no search, but you could still find ones to join. The most recent update has removed that, seems to feature like 10 challenges, and give you the ability to search... for users. The developers seem to want to build a social networking app, adding messaging and video descriptions. This seems to be a misunderstanding of what users want in this app which is an easy way of getting accountability. Making challenges searchable, filters on penalties and frequencies, jumping into active challenges that have just started are all features I would use frequently. I will never use messaging.

Google Play Store!! Please! Great idea

My friends and I love Spar! It really gets us active in an innovative way. But when will there be availability for my friends with android powered devices?! The only thing that would make this app better is having it available on the Google Play Store!!
