Wix great, Spaces bad.

Personally, I love Wix. Very user friendly, at the customer service exceeds all expectations. I recently downloaded the Wix Owner app which helps a lot. That then lead to downloading Spaces. I’ve messed with it a couple times. It was bland and I had a difficult time understanding the purpose. Maybe a different color scheme and layout. Anyway, I adjusted my settings and now an option to download the app drops down on my Mobile URL like a banner. I tested the banner link and tried installing the Spaces app on a different phone. The initial set up process is too extensive. I felt exhausted trying to set up my own app, I can only imagine what it’s like for an unbiased visitor. Circling it around, when I am then greeted with non stylish themes or layouts, interest is lost fast. This is just my take. It has a 4.8 rating with 41k reviews so I very well may be missing something or they got a lot of mommas and daddies.

I’ve been using Wix for a couple of years now. I’m in the process of retiring one site and getting another one built. This time around I’ve been really checking out the Spaces app and it’s been great! The first blog post I shared was chosen as Editors Choice! Super awesome. However, recently there’s been a serious glitch with the notification option on Discover. The app has always had minor issues that are easily overlooked but this one is seriously annoying. Please fix it and I’ll gladly update my review!

Losing Sales Cuz Wix Wants To Market This App So Bad

I paid for an upgraded package so that I could have my own branding on everything. I’m super disappointed with Wix. I sent an older client a digital coupon and a product link and when they clicked it, the coupon wouldn’t allow them to just go to my webpage to view the product. They had to download the spaces app. They were already older and seeing that they had to download a “Wix” app made them weary and made me lose a sale that was gonna be over 200 dollars. So thank you for nothing. Ugh. What did I even pay for?? So upset over this.

Discover Notification issue

I have been using space for a while now and it is fantastic. Lately when I receive notifications from Discover there has been an issue with checking them. The message will not display when clicking the notification icon showing a blank page only.

To whoever can see this, I’m not sure what on earth the rest of this app is like, but I have people or a person on this app making a fake porn profile of me. I’ve been reporting it everywhere that I can, even on Instagram, where they ALSO made a fake profile of me and stole my pictures. But whoever is reading and can help me, I would really appreciate it. Do NOT give your support or money or anything to the profile Limitedaccess on this app. I don’t even want to give this a rating at all. Just another scam!!!! Watch out!!

Wiz Merchant Processing down on my Website!

Welp; once again, Wix has decided to ask for a bunch of paperwork and documentation and disabled our credit card/merchant processing on our website RIGHT in time for the holidays! Even though we’ve submitted these documents last year, here we go again. I realize there are regulations and protocol, but we’re a small mom and pop e-commerce coffee roastery. Our online sales are only able to use PayPal until we submit the documents…..again. Why so suspect, Wix? Why aren’t your algorithms set up to expect higher volume sales without triggering a full federal investigation? Ridiculous. Guess PayPal will make their fees off of my customer’s orders this holiday season. ??‍♀️

I have not started yet but I received a text message that was clear to understand and lead me to the website that did not have language on it that only an attorney would understand so I signed up with the most ease of any other website I have used up under this point.
