For the most part, this app has been very convenient and reliable, although an issue has arisen recently with the ability to update it. A notice saying that a new version of the app is available continues to appear, while no such update seems to exist.

As a regular commuter, this app has proven very convenient time after time. Super easy to purchase tickets on the fly. I don't carry cash on me often, and can't always wait in line at those kiosks. Highly recommended for any rider of the SS!

Sitting on the train as I write the review. Works well over all. Great option for buying tickets ahead of time. Would be even better to have information about the train we are on including expected arrival times, next stop and speed. Only complaint was trying to figure out if we needed to buy kids tickets based on peak times. Had to go to the website to figure out what the peak times were.

So very convenient!! I live in the Miller section of Gary, IN and my husband and I catch the train all the time to Chicago. The fares are quite reasonable.

Easy to use very informative. I like that I can buy my tickets right on it if I am running late and don't have time to stop at kiosk. I only wish it would hold a train for me when I am late lol.

As a commuter I use this app on the daily and it is great for keeping my monthly pass in one place. However, there are no updates on the app when trains get delayed or begin to run late. This would be a key feature to add to the train since it also includes the different train schedules. I don't always have the resources to check the website for delays and this could send alerts straight to my phone through the app.

Live update of train times and additional trains for special events would be great.

Impressive, simple, one-stop app! No more finding kiosks, ticket windows or carrying cash either.

I go up to Chicago once or twice a year and use the South Shore. This app allowed me to buy tickets ahead of time and check train schedules.

As a girl that is perpetually running late for the train the ticket purchasing has been amaaaazing.
