Awesome app

Jonathan123

I was surprised it didn't support split view on iPad. But it looks like there was a bug, assuming it will be fixed. The app itself is awesome, and I love that there are iPhone and Mac versions of it. This is one of those apps I have open on my Mac all the time and have it assigned to a hot key to bring it forward immediately.

Easy Math for English Majors

This is a great way to sort out: • Who pays what for the beach house, • Whether to switch from Comcast to Fiber • How much did our vacation really cost? • Many other calculations that have a "textual backstory" Very powerful and clean. Really suggest you read the documentation and master the tools.

I use it almost every day

I use Soulver at work and at home. I'm always finding new ways to use it.

Just what I needed!

Atavachron

THIS IS JUST THE THING IVE BEEN DREAMING OF! It's the kind of app that should be one of those "Editors' Picks". I need to make totals of installations of product in different zones, and doing a simple final count is easy to lose track, when moving from one area to another. Using a simple clicker-counter doesn't allow for finding discrepancies easily when duplicate counts don't match. I've gone back and forth between taking notes in the iOS Notes app, and then calculating the line totals in the default calculator app, and alternatively, trying to set up a simple spreadsheet in Numbers for iOS. Using Notes + the default Calculator just doesn't do it. Trying to use Numbers on an iPhone will give you grey hair. This is like a hybrid of a Notes app and a Calculator app. It has the simplicity of a notes app, but cuts out all the double entry of adding into a calculator app. *** Hat-tip to John Moltz for mentioning this app on "The Rebound" podcast.

Five stars but I'm wishing split view was back

A really great app. I use in on my phone, iPad and Mac. It's replaced using a spread sheet for a lot of light duty calculating. Much more flexible than a simple calculator app. I thought about withholding a star for lack of multitasking split view but I thought that would be a jerk move.

Just perfect

I absolutely love this update! Wish you apply the same new features to the macOS version.

A word of caution to users and fix request from developers

Just_Me_Too56657

Soulver is a great application, but I found one major issue - tapping on the Delete for a second, will bring up a popup to clear the whole line, or Clear All. If pushed by mistake, there is no way to undo!!! That's a serious flaw! Since it happened to me already a couple of times, and made me lose all calculations, that I had no backup to. This is especially frustrating, especially after constructing very long formulas. Everything is gone in a blink of an eye! Suggestions to fix this: Either adding support to the native shake device to undo, or add a popup window, asking the user, to confirm, they intended to completely clear all calculations! This issue been existing for the past few versions. Was hoping this would be discovered and fixed, but since it hasn't, I decided to let users and developers know of it. And that's the reason I gave it 3 stars only, at this point. Please fix.

I love it!!

This is the best calculator out there! I use it for everything.

Nice

I have bought almost all of the calculator apps, and this is my favorite one.

Indispensable app, use nearly everyday

SwirlingChi

One of my favorite apps that I use nearly everyday for everything from quick budgeting to financial modeling. The macOS app is equally useful and I hope to see similar updates to it as well. Worth every penny.
