Expertly Made

Love this series.

Way too short!

LadyDelina

Seriously, I finished it in an hour without even using more than four kinds of spells. What did I pay for? I can play a free game for hours. Seriously disappointed.

A piece of art

MisterFourier

Truly a piece of art that should be displayed in a museum.

A good way to start a series

CraneBrainer

Although short, this game sets the theme and feel of what will amount to a very successful series. - Immersive dialogue - Original Art Design - Entertaining Combat System

Very nice feel, nice play, really short for the money

AndyMockingbird

Truly enjoyable. Well designed. Art and music, very nice and I like the simple combat mechanics and controls. I want to give it more stars, but it really is short. In fact, longer would have earned it 5 stars. I was not expecting the end when it came.

Short but Worth it

Ellie0224

This game is short, but it if you play Sorcery 2 and 3, you will be glad it is short. It is easy to replay many times to create different outcomes in Sorcery 2. You make certain choices that will make you really wonder if you did the right thing or not...and it's nice that you can replay the game so fast to find out what your actions do. My least favorite of the sorcery series but necessary!

Not worth the money!

Way too short! Took about two hours to get to the end...feel like I got ripped off.

Pretty good, too short for its price

Teakey

An interactive fiction in a fantasy world with beautiful art, nice music and sound effects, and an interesting story. The battle system is innovative and fun even with its simplicity. So the first time I played through it I thought thought it was fairly interesting but I guess I made many overly cautious decisions that had me explore almost none of the areas and fast-tracked me to the end. Since then I tried replaying it making different decisions and found it vastly more entertaining, clever, and interesting; still somewhat short for its price though. Overall i thought it was fairly easy except for a couple of challenging battles. If you enjoy fantasy settings and RPG gameplay I think you will appreciate the depth and imagination of this world. I would highly recommend multiple play throughs or at least replaying some of the parts of the story to find the more interesting paths to Khare. You will be rewarded for being adventurous in this game. Although the price is steep at $5 I am interested enough in the story and the game is high-quality enough that I will probably purchase part 2.

1985 Called- It wants it's game back!

Saruman_the_White

This game is so bad, I paid for Wi-Fi access on my flight just to write this review... Total piece of garbage. Text based adventure from 1985 where the "choices" make no difference- you lose your food, lose your health and die. Animation and graphics look like South Park circa 1998. The magic system is so obtuse, you have to call up this inventory to try and figure out the three digit code for the spell (more like a password)- except you can't cast spells because this little Elf tags along with you and prevents you from casting spells (what a great idea!). Steve Jackson made some OK games back in the 80's but they were always uninspired grinds, good to see that nothing's changed. I bought the adventure pack, played through part of the first Sorcery!, deleted it, and deleted Sorcery! 2 without even trying it. It's games like this that remind me why the Freemium model exists...
