****** The Story ******

Faira, a quiet farming province near the center of the Aiser Kingdom, enjoyed relative peace growing cabbage, grains, and fruit. Then one day a man calling himself the Doctor came and started turning villagers into the undead! A plea for help was sent to the Guild, the organization of adventurers spanning the continent of Sorceria. The Guild sent four heroes to resolve the crisis. And so, the adventure begins!

****** Game Highlights ******

*** All weapons, items, and monster stats are randomly generated every game. When you play, you may get goblins that are strong in physical defense but weak against fire, and your best weapon may be a Crystal Spear. While in your friend’s game he may get goblins weak against ice, and all his weapons are so horrible that he’ll have to rely on magic. It is up to you the player, to figure out the best strategy to beat the game with what you have.

*** “Final Fantasy Legend” (or Saga in JP) inspired combat system where nearly every item has limited uses. This way you have to think about what weapons/skills to use when. You can also use different weapons depending on the battle situation.

*** Abnormal states play a greater role. Many abnormal states remain after battle. So getting poisoned or confused is now a bigger deal that you can’t just shrug off with cheap remedies.

*** Variety of locations to explore. From simple caves to cellar dungeons to hospital ruins. Can you survive them all with wit and courage?

*** Every character class is unique. Will you pick the Fighter, who does uber damage in battle and has Godzilla HP? Will you pick the Rogue, who can pick locks and help you avoid trap damage? Or will you pick the Dancer, who is no warrior but can get you great bargains in stores and charm villagers into giving you more support? 8 different character classes, infinite combinations.

Intriguing

I like the old school retro type of feel. It seems as though the game has nice depth and length although I've barely scratched the surface. Haven't experienced any bugs in the first hour of playing on the IPhone 4. Definitely keeping as of now and will update after more playtime.

Cool

Good concepts, but a lot of bugs still
Aftertherevolution

It's been a while since I picked up and rpg like this but I decided to give it a whirl as something appealed to me. The combat and class system both seem really interesting and changes it up from the same old. It's a little confusing at first to figure it out, my advice is to not get too invested in your first characters.. Just use em to try things out. You have the ability to distribute points to different feats at first, but it's not really clear what ultimately will be useful. Interestingly enough, I wish I had chosen my classes so I had more characters with room for carrying items. The backpack gets filled up pretty quick. And while some classes are really interesting.. Their slots are filled by abilities so u can't carry all the extra goodies u find. I'm on an iPad 1 and seem to have issues with it crashing on me more often than I would like. So I save often. There have been some pretty big bugs that have prevented me from continuing and I stopped the game, but then after reporting it they addressed the issues and put out new updates and so I picked up where I left off and was able to continue. I'm currently hoping the bug gets fixed that keeps me trapped in my current level 'the water maze' ... But hope to soon... And once I'm able to successfully make it to the end without an issue blocking me.. I'll. Ump it up to 4 stars :) Good game tho.. Thanks for making it.

Lost in Frustration
MrVariant

I am updating my review to state how frustrating this game is, even after all these updates. They may eventually fix it (like attacking air if you target dead enemies), but you will get lost and curse it out for old flaws in NES RPG's. They fixed the old flaw of attacking air if an enemy dies before the character attacks it (instead of hitting the next living enemy). However, the controls can slide characters for no reason (where they'll move diagonally against the way you are moving) and the limited inventory for unequipped characters at 8 is ridiculous; if you pick up a chest and are full, you will lose the item. There's a class system which looks interesting, but I did not want to bother much because it's easy to get lost; you'll need a guide for this game. I got lost looking for remains in the 1st dungeon and I couldn't find anything to heal my poisoned/paralyzed characters. Lastly, auto-battle is a joke; you just do actions without being prompted every turn to move battle dialogue. You will still have to input the commands every turn (but at least it doesn't freeze any more).

Old school RPG
See Through Games

This game gives me nostalgia of very old RPG. If you ever played Ultima or Wizardry, you could get into this game. It is all about resource management. Everything has number of use. Only skill can be refilled the number of use. A thief is a must. A healer is also a must. Try to learn skill asap. The down side is that the game gets more difficult real fast! Even the first dungeon is that way! This game needs balancing. The UI is bad. Moving arrows are in the middle of the screen and you would miss hit when all of the sudden you encounter monsters. That's bad. Even worse downside. Any monster hits you, you could be blind. Your characters miss attacking a lot already. It is worse when they are blind; especially with easily blind like this. As a result, you could be in a battle forever. If you are patient enough, keep playing. Otherwise, this game is a PoS.
