Morning bird chatter!

If you wake each morning to the chattering of various bird calls, this app is a great way to identify each bird by its call. We had one song that was loud in the morning and it was unlike any of the others. I had to know what it was!! It’s a Blue Jay! I was so happy and now I smile every time I hear it. I will say this app has bird songs and calls that you can listen to but those are so faint that I can never hear them. Aside from that I love this app.

the Indestructible Virus
I use Merlin’s bird ID for basic identification of bird through their song and their plumage, but I find there isn’t much information about the bird on their app. This app is outstanding for more information about the bird! With information about what they eat and their habits, it’s a great education tool. I also really enjoy the song identification features and for people like me who find it hard differentiating bird songs every now and then. I also really like the social feature of this app! Great to see where other borders have spotted some great finds! Highly recommended :v

Inaccurate and disappointing!

Installed this app to identify some unfamiliar bird calls around my home. Tried to test it with the distinct-sounding phoebe. It identified it as 100% goldfinch. Untrustworthy!
Can’t even open.

Authorized microphone and just freezes. Reboot it, nothing. Can’t get past it.

Scrolls through 1/2 dozen common birds and none are correct. Disappointing.
