Sonic Sleep Alarm Clock

CB,!65d

Just used the updated version and it is AWESOME! I especially like the gradual wake feature- no more jarring alarms for me!!!

Sound masks are great

bmg_review

I live in the city, and having a way to block out low-level background noise is really helpful for light sleepers like myself. Tying it to a gradual alarm really makes it useful for me. Useful app!

Great way to fall asleep

I enjoy the different background sounds that you can use, the various types of alarms that you can set, and the ability to nerd out on some of the data. A must have for anyone who cares about their sleep.

Needs improvement

I wanted to love this, but after using it for 10 days, I just want a refund. The concept is good, but the actual performance of the app is slow, clunky, and not user friendly. The functionality I expected did not exist. Perhaps it’s user error, but I’m not sure how.

Not sure

Tried this for a week but basically it was a white noise generator (I’m sure that technically it is much more than that) in this week trial. No access to try other features without buying the premium version. No integration with a fit bit and it’s sleep data, and did not see any integration options with anything else. Seems like a good idea after watching the TED talk in regards to the science behind it, but after a week could not justify the $49 annual cost. Seems there are other more robust options out there. Maybe I missed something, that’s why the two stars.

Was great...where did it go?

This app is truly the best solution to sleep challenges. The ted talk pointed me here and by paying the annual fee and using the app, with my device plugged in each night, I had better health, because of better sleep! But it simply will no longer open.

Just white sound

Tried for 6 nights free trial and still not sure I’m getting what I already know. I already know I need more sleep. I don’t understand the sleep age data. But I’m gathering the more I sleep the lower the number. Not worth the $50 year subscription if I already have white sound machine. Maybe have a 6 month option.

Productive sleeping app ??

I’ve started to take my health seriously and have been hearing on a lot of all of my favorite Podcasts lately that sufficient nightly sleep is crucial for everything in our health- from good memory to muscular regeneration. This app basically helped me analyze then optimize my own personal sleep pattern so that I started feeling more energized in the mornings. I think I really felt the energy/alertness after about 2-3 weeks. Overall- I’d recommend to anyone who takes their night time seriously and is willing to put in the effort to make the most of each night’s rest.

Sleep help

Itsme9999

Me, like so many others, have a terrible time sleeping some nights. I’ve been using this app for a while now and what it does for me is give me options when I’m having a difficult night’s sleep; it can function as an alarm clock, and monitor how much sleep I’m getting; and give me a lot of information about sleep in general. This is an excellent app if you have sleep issues.

I’ve been having sleep issues for the past few weeks and I came across this on the Dave asprey podcast. Just started using it but it seems to be helping based on my outs ring data. One small comment is that the user experience can be improved a bit.
