Totally non-intuitive interface

Ok, so you’ve purchased the in-app premium edition. Now what? No “sample session” write up describing what to do and what to expect. Worthless IMO.

Alarm is too quiet

annamaybee

I am not sure if there is a setting for this, but the gradual alarm is too quiet. I can barely hear it, let alone wake up to it. I put the white nose volume on high, in hopes that it would turn up the alarm, but it did not. Please let me know if there is a way to fix this, because I would love to actually try the app.

Bluetooth feature doesn’t work

xXSuNNyGXx

I do like this app but I partly bought in with the intent of using a Bluetooth speaker that would do a better job than my phone. The Bluetooth functionality doesn’t work. I would move my rating up if it were fixed. Update: the developers took care of the Bluetooth speaker not working but I have a new problem keeping me from 5 stars. When I am listening to Bluetooth headphones (as I finish listening to an audio book before bed) I turn the app on and the white noise starts playing. But when I turn the headphones off, the sound does not switch back to my iPhone speakers. Please help me out with this as it’s a pain to restart my iPhone just to make sure the app will play from my phone at night.

Can’t tell if it works

Refriedi

From the TED talk, I thought these folks wanted to help people, but evangelizing the importance of deep sleep and then charging a monthly fee to get it feels extortive. Another review reply to the tune of, “Sorry but we gotta make dat money,” seems to confirm.

Not too shabby at all

Kilgore_Troutt

I’ve tried a fair amount of sleep apps in my time, but this has become my go to one. It really has enhanced my sleep schedule and I’ve learned some other fun facts via the developer’s website. It’s .99 cents, what do you have to lose?

Snoozing with the shake of the phone

nadz987

As a frequent snoozer i find the shake to snooze aspect of this app extremely helpful to helping me wake up and not feel as groggy as i used to feel. Saw this on TED and got it for the deep sleep stimulation feature but I’m finding other aspects of this app more useful.

About time

Mike Sadow

I have had sleep issues for years. So happy with this app and with the support. Thanks for a great help with my sleep issues.

After a week, working wonders

Eastbeast

I have struggled to sleep for years and tried many products and techniques. After hearing about this through TED.com and watching the talk, I gave it a try. It helped me a lot! It’s clever in that it is just a simple alarm, just like my iPhone alarm I’m used to. Would recommend this app!

Great app!

Jballtx

There has been a lot of media about the importance of sleep. I admit that I was skeptical about how white noise would make me sleep better. I use another app and my Apple Watch to measure my sleep. Before using Sonic Sleep, my average deep sleep per night was 1 hour and 26 minutes. Since using Sonic Sleep my average deep sleep is now more than 2 hours. Last night, my deep sleep was almost 4 hours. I have not changed my diet, my exercise, medication or sleep schedule. I just started using Sonic Sleep. I still don’t understand how it works. But for me, I am getting the best sleep on a consistent basis than I have had in years. Thank you! I am grateful for your app!
