Location services tracks you

As noted by another reviewer this app does turn on your location services. When the app is turned on, the hollow location services arrow appears in the upper right corner of your screen. This is the arrow the is defined by Apple as one that allows an app to track your location under certain situations. It does disputes when you completely close out of the app, i.e. double click home and swipe app from running in the background. What is more concerning is that the app developer denies this with the other review as well. They really need to investigate their own software to see if it is a bug or come clean and admit they track location. Just to be clear SurfCity, I went into locations services and notifications and turned off all other apps. When I run your app the location arrow still appears. The only way to stop this is to completely off location services but that is not ideal as I use it for other features. Lastly, what is even more strange is that their app does not appear in locations services, notifications, or app listings. It is as though you install it and it operates outside the normal Apple parameters. Truly an odd situation and scary that it does engage tracking and they will not admit it. Overall, the app itself does work well and the voice you hear is soothing and relaxing. However, I must rate a 1 Star because of the location service issue.

This is the best app ever for going to bed! As soon as I hear her voice I'm struck with sleepiness! I don't even make through her 28min cycle lol I'm knocked out in under 5-10mins ... but warning don't put on during the day lol.. I tried to put it on just so I could hear the whole thing during the day! I was struggling to stay awake her voice made me so sleepy lol I fell asleep before it ended. lol i have yet to finish it all the way through lol but I ain't complaining! It's doing it's job!

I have been insomniac for as long as I can remember and until now I have learned to live with it. Sometimes I am very frustrated when I’m suddenly alert as soon as I go to bed and it was one of those occasions that I came across this app. I AM IN SHOCK!! In all my 52 years, I have never found anything that actually worked. I can honestly say that this application has changed my life!! I am now at night 7 of solid sleep and the more you listen, the easier it becomes. I thought I would be bored every night listening to the same voice saying the same thing but I can not wait to plug in my headphones!! I wake up more tired now but in a different way. Almost as if my body was relaxing in a way that never was, it is finally starting to make up for a life of dreadful sleep deprivation!! It's so incredibly soothing. The voiceover is so relaxing. Sometimes I use the color visualization version because I find it easier to fall asleep when you are more passive like that. There are many choices of background music or sounds such as rain. It's so nice to go to sleep with this app. You can let the background music play for a while after the voice has stopped, which is great if you're not sleepy enough when you get to the end of the session. I ended up buying some of the others in the series as they all seem to be using this woman who has the most soothing and relaxing voice you've ever heard. Since you can try this for free, you have absolutely nothing to lose. I can not imagine not liking this app. I tell everyone about it, and many of my friends also now use it every night.

My insomnia has been really bad lately. Tried a variety of apps that just did not work and wanted yearly subscriptions. Came across this. Did the free option and just as I was going to pass out, the 30 minuets past. Ended becoming wide awake again. So bought the app. Glad I did. Started it back up played again and put it on repeat. I slept 6 straight hours. Normally I’ve only been sleeping 1-3 hours a night. Great app.

I have to listen to direction and bumbo jumbo for like 10 minutes before it even begins what kinda stupid stuff is that..
It's not free. Wants $$ upgrade

One is blocked from all the features in this except the talking. You can't shut off the talking and get to ambient noise and less you upgrade. You can't change the volume and less you upgrade. Basically it wants money from you for all features except listening to the woman talk. Very MISLEADING when advertised.
