This is an amazing, 5 star game. I have given it a low review due to the recent “update”. The cards are way, WAYY too sticky. This makes fight needlessly longer and more annoying. Also, they shrunk the map icons…why would you do this? The increased size from a previous update was a good change, now they are barely readable. Please revert these changes…
Great game , glaring crashing issue

I have 1k hours in this game on the Pc. Also have a little under 200hrs on the iPhone. Can’t play act 4 in the current state. Always crashes on the act 4 elite.

The touch control update from version 2.2.2 has made this game nearly unplayable on iPhones without a home button. Whenever you drag cards up, the phone thinks I’m closing the app. The high sensitivity before this update was much better. Not sure why the change was necessary. *Update 9/25/2021* they’ve since corrected this and the game runs smoothly.

I don’t know how In the world this is supposed to be an improvement. The touch controls are unresponsive now and makes the game unpleasantly tedious to play. They were fine before why change it to THIS? Otherwise the game is awesome so I give it 4 stars for now because it’s a port of an amazing game. However please for the love of all that is good please revert this last update!

I cannot rate this game high enough. I played hundreds of hours on pc, and at least a hundred more on IOS. It may be tough to get the hang of at first, but after a few runs you learn a lot and get hooked in. There is a lot of depth here, and working up the Ascensions (higher difficulties you unlock) is a blast. Seriously worth every penny, you will get your money’s worth out of it.

this game looks better in the advertising & presenting pics, but pirates outlaws is waaaay more fun and better made. the cards in this game feel awful after playing the way better pirates outlaws. pirates outlaws is super fun and has a super high replayability... they designed so many quests or stages and the cards were better thought out. very good game makers...theses guys suckered me. i think the super quality pirates cost like a buck and this boring game cost 10. the premise looks great as magic & d&d. the execution is not. pirates outlaws scratches that itch waaaay better and i really hope they make lots of more games

Huge fan of StS and have been waiting a long time for a mobile port. And now I play on the phone more than on the computer! The interface could be a bit better but it is improving. Some small fiddly options like toggling beta art seems to almost never hit the tough target. And this seems to be a straight port, as in your finger is the mouse and the game is 1:1. This has been updated a bit with some Menus being made bigger. As I put in my title I use a normal iPhone X, the game runs smoothly and I can still play the game smoothly. Great port! So happy to have it mobile!

I recently switched to iOS from Android, and I decided to purchase Slay the Spire again. The game itself is excellent. I play at least once a day to do the daily challenge (unless it’s the watcher). The game is really held back by the performance, however. It appears to be less than 30 FPS. It’s certainly playable, but because the game isn’t very responsive, I have accidentally played two cards or played the wrong card. Overall, the game just needs some performance updates to be perfect.
