Slack is the solution to a problem you never had

Slack makes things complicated with its non-intuitive layout and functionality. Not to mention it turns normal group messages into this weird @twitter style. It’s not necessary, and it doesn’t make things any more efficient. Save yourself the trouble and skip this, stick to Email like real adults.

Slack: the new low bandwidth feature is working amazing. Our techs work in areas with limited coverage and this has helped tremendously. My only criticism right now is copy and paste on the IOS app. Why can’t I use the built in select or select all instead of your “copy text” which is very limited as to what I can actually copy. Pain in the butt!!!!

I’ve been using Slack for almost 2 years and it is an amazingly easy to use, endlessly customizable for your needs, and has a clean design free of distraction. Plus, their technical support that I’ve contacted from r small glitches has been super prompt, friendly, and helpful!

Overall a great app. Operates just like desktop. My gripe is with mobile login. I use Slack mobile to keep me connected while away, however I don’t want it always running in the background and only need notifications when not logged in to desktop. Having to enter URL, email and password is annoying. Would love a simplified log in/out option.
